there's no way to talk sense to those people that think we're waiting for bosh to leave us...

I'm pretty sure Rich Paul has been sold for years.

@ryenarussillo: The Gilbert letter becoming and issue now, is a joke. This sounds like an out, an attempt to not look like the bad guy.

That's what I'm saying, I think Lebron is in too deep...

It's almost comical the people projecting him at anything less than 15 million starting salary for this year.

Given all that's been said about Rich Paul, selling him on Cleveland being a viable spot for LeBron is akin to selling insulin to a diabetic.

It may matter, but let's not pretend it was difficult.

Lebron made it seem like he would stay in CLE and then he waits until basically the last minute to inform the world that he's going to leave as the Cavs are left with nothing in return. He **** on Cleveland on national television, a city which up to that point had given him nothing but praise and love. He talked about loyalty and stopping at nothing to bring us a championship but instead opted to take the easier road to championships by teaming up with 2 of the best players in the league. And then the very next day, he puts on a whole parade at the welcome party celebrating as if he's already won a championship.

Dan Gilbert's letter was necessary at the time and Cleveland (as well as many other fan bases) rallied around him. It's easy to forget what Lebron did and point the finger at Gilbert now but IMO both of them screwed up.

Nevertheless, I put aside any hatred for Lebron long ago and I want him back. And I truly believe he's coming back to the Cavs. There's just too many signs pointing to his return.

(Cue Coming Home by Diddy)

Sorry, you weren't owed anything. He didn't do anything different last time that he hasn't done this time except a tv show. In fact he's taking longer now. Should the heat org write a letter for hindering our chances at another FA? Please!

Also, seriously you think that Lebron put on that pep rally? that was a Heat thing. He just showed up. We did the same for Shaq in 2004 I don't recall Laker fans whining about it.

There's a difference between taking a long time to decide and going on national tv, making a huge deal out of his decision, to publicly inform the world that he's leaving Cleveland before even informing anybody in the Cavs organization. He basically held his middle finger up to the city and said, "I'm off to bigger and better things." Obviously you wouldn't understand because you don't live in Cleveland but it was devastating at the time. It wasn't the fact that he left but the way he did it.

And Shaq didn't proclaim, "Not one, not two, not three..."

You sound like a butthurt fan. Probably best not to open an account to post on here. Just go back to your little life and enjoy it.

It's very clear this is a big "F you" to the Cavs, Heat, and world in general. For how much criticism he took for "The Decision" he is clearly trying to drag this out and make us all wish he'd do that again. Not to mention it's a big F you to Gilbert and the Cavs for their reaction to him leaving, and a big F you to Miami for getting rid of Miller, Riley's presser, and lack of upgrading.

Kinda of pathetic that LeBron is doing this to everyone. Making himself look really arrogant once again. I say that as a big LeBron fan.

For the love of god, he didn't promise anything. He was having fun just saying that. Then he follows with "We BELIEVE we could win multiple championships if we take care of business"

And about the Decision. Maybe you're right, he should have told at least the Cavalier's fan and the organization that it was time for goodbye. He publicly admitted it was his mistake. It was still for a good cause. So its what ever....

and we have won multiple titles and there's no reason we shouldn't win another.

Which btw is pretty much what Houston is offering too

No, HOU is offering $22/per.

...and so the insider is exposed.

1) under the CBA, the max anyone can offer Bosh is 20.6
2) the rockets do not have the cap space to offer 20.6, let alone 22.

The Rockets can offer a maximum of $18.9m assuming they renounce Troy Daniels and is able to move JLin for cap space.

If they waive Josh Powell, Omri Casspi and Robert Covington as well, then they can offer Bosh the max. However, I do not believe it is a wise move though.

The biggest surprise to me in all of this is that Fathorst is starting to look like a good reporter. I never thought I'd say that phrase in my life.

Ill tell you what, I don't know if the letter story is a plant or not, and if so, who is planting it.

But from a pro-Heat perspective it seems to be a master stroke. The entire story today from all angles has turned quite suddenly into "He'd be a **** madman with no self-respect to return to Cleveland after that. Remember the fans? The remarks about his mom? etc."

bunch of random speculation from you, for all you know he could be rly just torn and still deciding. But when it ccomes to lebron, he cant win. Decision tv show was bad, now hes just taking his time, BUT....EGOTISTICAL! ARROGANT! why? its not his fault that we are desperate to know the answer. Also not his fault the nba is on lockdown until he decides. Thats our problem.

TRUTH!!

Listen to Deion, nobody would ever go back to the Bron, nobody.

And so it begins.

Get ready for athletes to go and tell LBJ something along the lines of Deion's statement.

What did he say? I don't understand how that could be "debunked".

According to Schwartz, Amico and Sheridan.....it was never brought up at all with their discussions with Rich Paul.

Which is why I think its more payback (from us) for the Cavs selling the "LeBron didnt like Riley's presser" story.

Cause if LeBron is only hung up on the letter......that isnt good for us. I would hope it has more to do with basketball and winning. That favors us and thats also what I believe the decision will come down to.

Will you apologize to me when what I said will happen, happens?

To my knowledge, nothing I've said has been reported by ESPN or anyone else.

It's not what Pat wants, it's what LBJ wants. Pat wants to keep LBJ happy. LBJ doesn't want to look like he's forcing Bosh out, as he thinks it would tarnish his 'brand', thus the "cloak and dagger drama".

The story about this being a way of pushing Bosh out has been floating around for a damn week. It was on ESPN, it was on Twitter, it's been everywhere. Whoever your "source" is is not only not plugged in, but he's not even up to date.

I take it that means you will not apologize when I'm proven right.

Bosh has 3 days to sign with HOU. We'll all find out soon enough.

Sam Amico is a hack. Didn't he say that there would be an announcement at 11 pm last night? Lol. Plus it's up to LeBron and not Rich **** Paul.

not sure if I like the idea of Melo and Bron being the dynamic duo. Doubt there is enough ball to go around.

Return to Miami Heat
