Why should we do this? We are like 100 Million under the cap.

No amount of cap space can get us Wiggins. He is just unattainable, let it go.

Didn't you know it makes perfect sense to trade Nerlens Noel, future lottery picks, and take back 20 million in salary, to get Kevin Love? Then turnaround and trade Kevin Love for Wiggins? Simple :D

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Lol, Kevin Love will like it in Philadelphia too much and refuse to sign in Cleveland if he gets traded :p

Like I said before, if I was Hinkie I would trade Thad, MCW, bad contract, 2016 first round (2017 first round if I have to) to Minny, Love go to Cav, and we get Wiggins and Bennett. Next year, we draft a more athletic and defensive pg in Mudiay. Then, buyout Saric contract. We would get the below lineup in 2016.

pg: Mudiay/Pierre/Ware
sg: Wiggins/KJ/Thompson
sf: Saric/Jerami Grant
pf: Noel/ Bennett
c: Embiid/Sim

I can totally see this team winning a championship if Embiid and Wiggins live up to their hype.

Why trade a bad contract away to bring Wiggins in? Don't add negative value to a deal where you are getting the best player involved. And I'm pretty positive Saric isn't going to be able to play SF full time at the NBA level. Although Bennett/Saric at the 3/4 is an interesting proposal. But yeah, even the deal you have above doesn't land Wiggins and Bennett. Or even just Wiggins alone. It ain't happening. Why would Minny want MCW when they have Rubio locking down the PG spot?

Wolves would hang up the phone laughing though. Other than a fully fit and firing Embiid we just don't have the assets to get Wiggins.

Finally!!! I understand that people get kinda emotionally involved in draft prospects, especially after an awful tanking seasons with D-leaguers in the starting lineup like last one, but PLS STOP IT, you're not playing fantasy basketball!!! Or get a life..

That's fine. Doesn't mean Sixers won't pull a deal after the first is finalized. They could swing Thad to Minny for Bennett and a few contracts, if Minny wants Thad and wants to shed salary, it makes perfect sense.

I think the Wolves would have to wait for quite some time before they could deal Bennett again if he was involved in the trade. 2 months IIRC Looking like we're not getting Bennett after all.

If it goes down like that, Twolves cannot match Thad with Bennet, so would either need to send enough to match not including him, or wait a few months.

Well they have to wait until the 21st to trade Wiggins anyway, right? Can always be expanded over the next 2 weeks. But yeah that this was announced without us means it doesn't look good.

They could do: Barea, LMAM, Bennett for Thad afterwards; using Barea and LMAM for aggregation.

Still I would expect it 3 way if it will happen.

I disagree. I think Hinkie would be the type of GM to say "Hey we aren't willing to deal yet because we are looking at other options. Pull you're trade with CLE and let's talk again in a few months about unloading your contracts and flipping Bennett for Thad."

It's not like there would be a rush to get a deal done until pre-season anyways. Point being, just because Woj is now saying it's a 2 team deal doesn't mean the chances are any "less" that Bennett ends up in Philly. If the documented reports of Minny wanting Thad and wanting to unload contracts are true, Hinkie can afford to sit back and play a little waiting game to see what else Thad might bring back in a deal.

Not good if Woj is saying it:

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA · 39m
Sources: Cavs have agreement for Kevin Love, including long-term contract commitment. Wiggins, Bennett, pick to Minn.

Twolves writer quoted source saying that Hinkie asks for way to much so getting Thad is not easy. Sounds about right.

We need to stop getting our hopes up like this. I feel like there is still a good shot something goes down considering Flip is interested in Thad but we have a AB thread on the board that's poppin off for Christ's sake.
