You let Casey go and what is going to change exactly? Lowry and DeRozan are going to start making better decisions? Unless we're bringing in an established coach there is no point to it imo.

One of Lowry and DeRozan has to go if we truly want to change the dynamics of this roster. I say DeRozan because he's less likely to change his approach to the game of basketball and we can get a better haul in a trade.

This might sound crazy but I say we go for Wiggins. Build a team around the hometown kid and see where it takes us. He's only 23 and still has a lot of room to grow as a player.

Wiggins??? Gawd no.....that guy must have a tattoo of a dinosaur right where his heart should be. If you think DD is infuriating, you’ll have cardiac arrest with Wiggins

+1 , lol how you watched how he played this year, helll nooo

Don’t insult those teams. They all went to the conference finals and won a game or 2.

I Dont get this mentality tbh. We're trying to win a game this Isnt mma.

Don't need to turn into sore losers. The issue with this team is the gameplan soucks and t he coach relies on the wrong players. Casey has so mich at his disposal but he plays t he wrong guys. After seeing tonight's debacle I have no doubt a better coach would get more out of this team. Caseys patented sub jv out built the lead to 16. If it's not jvs fault Casey has no other answer. Seriously. Not like we can keep jv in and you know bench demar for some actual perimeter d. Nope that's a preposterous idea. Not like we can abuse the size mismatch inside. Preposterous. Gotta stick to your guns Casey. Hope you like not having a job next season.

Lol, nah not like an actual fight. Like competitive fight, sometimes you need to take a hard foul when things are going the way that they were. Casey has too much at his disposal, and doesn’t know what to do with it - that’s the problem.

Just Passing By wrote:Even Lue, who might be the most simple-minded coach in this league, understands the most basic **** concept - ride whats working till the opponents stop it. They did not run any plays at all - gave the ball to Lebron fifty times in a row cause we could not stop it, before that gave the ball to Love vs whatever mismatch he had thirty times in a row because we could not stop it. It is that **** simple. What do we do? Every single time we give the ball to JV downlow he either scores or gets fouled, or kicks out for an open three - but no, why would we continue doing that, we have so many better options than that, dont we? Cavs did not prove in the first two games that they can stop it, we just **** stop doing it ourselves. It is incredible to me...

We were KILLING them every time we went to the PnR with JV. Casey is on his last leg, hopefully he wins coach of the year and gets the Bob Hill treatment.

We are what we do. This is not an aberration, this isn't an anomaly, this is exactly who we are.

This has been the consensus here at the end of each of the last three seasons. Everyone will get amnesia in the offseason and be homers again to start the next one.

Masai is truly BC's top student. he will add a shiny deck to this crumbling house and half of toronto will fall for it.

It will be bringing Vince back during another 60 win season.

I wonder if the Lakers would want DD? If they got George or James?

The best bet are teams that have sucked and drafted poorly and need something to sell to the fans. A high scoring all star like DeMar looks good for Orlando and Sacramento.

Yeah. Sacramento doesn't have their pick next year. Take a couple young players and some contracts and call it a day.

The offense was not the issue Casey.... you made so many matchup advantages for the Cavs that it was sad. That's on him.

If Casey believes this is why we lost.... then.... I hope he isn't back next year. I don't care if we magically win this series haha.

in a way, this is right. Ibaka was supposed to be the pressure valve for this team. Instead, the bench stepped up.
Ibaka was brought in specifically for this series and he's laying goose eggs everywhere.

we have too much young talent.

you only watch the raptors dont you.

Please don't take my comment out of context.

We have too much your talent to successfully talk. To tank, you need to clear the roster of at least 6-8 players. It's just unrealistic.

I wasn't trying to say that we have the next Simmons or Mitchell sitting on our bench.

i am not taking it out of context. You are giving our young guys too much credit. they are above average to where they were drafted and work well as a unit. But they are still bench quality players. You dont let your role players dictate where your franchise is going.

Ibaka I'd imagine you'd have to include Siakam or Poertle or Delon or a pick or something. Ie. you have to pay someone to take him off your hands.

Move Lowry to Philly for Fultz.

Never had the opportunity to lead a franchise. 1st year was his rookie season and after that had to share the load with KAT. This year was his 1st year playing as a forced 3rd string.

If playing at home is not going to put some pride in him to take that next level as an elite player, I don't know what will but what do we have to lose? DeRozan is not getting any younger. 29 to start next season with 2 years remaining on his contract and you'd be a fool to think he wouldn't consider going back home.

+1, every other series going on has had some hockey type moments. Don’t need to throw a punch but show that you can to play and not taking a loss sitting down
