That's a rich contract for him. Though I can't blame the Magic, they've invested too much on him and he has improved quite a bit. Still not enough to justify the new contract, but the hope is that he continues to improve. A big man who only shoots 43% is terrible though. Still, young enough that I'm sure he will continue to make strides.

I think Zach will end up settling for around 18 million per if the Bulls offer a contract to that amount. I think the Bulls will hold firm to around 16 million per year though.
Why so serious?

Aaron Gordon 4yr 84, should set the market for Zach to get roughly that, maybe a bit less. Still 20+ million per season is scary

And this for the one saying he didn’t really look like his old self. He was close to it for a 30 game sample size. Bucks still don’t know how use him right tho

Is that the selling point? Becasue I dislike him even more if it is.

I say sign this dude and Lavine, so we got 2 players who can’t play defense and has bad knees.

Parker doesn't fit this team at all. He doesn't have the quicks to stay with 3's and plays weak team defense. I don't understand why we need a Plan B in case LaVine leaves. If he walks, just play what you have.

I'm starting to get royally peeved. Mario Herzona just signed for 1 year 6.5 million; and we weren't even one of the teams in the running or with interest. why not? We are the most passive front office in the league.

because a rebuilding team signing a guy to a one-year deal that doesn't even give us bird rights isn't a great use of money

Bulls won't do much this off season but sign Lavine and Nwaba.

You don't believe the bulls will sign Parker?

THIS

Sure, provided Lavine and Parker are only on one year deals and then walk. Then I only have to largely ignore one season.

There's a possibility. I could see a one or two year deal. Bulls have already shown interest.

What does Hezonja do that Valentine doesn't?
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

Im terrified of Jabaris knees but the kid can still play if they hold up. If he gives the Bulls a hometown discount I am all in with Jabari

Parker doesn't fit right now and I agree he's a 4. The only way for this to work is if they trade Lopez, then they can roll with Carter, Lauri, portis and Parker as the bigs with Portis and Lauri playing some center.Looks like Portis is getting resigned so he's not leaving. If roster stays as is though Parker doesn't make any sense. If that's the case just go for hood and call it a day.

The problem with the idea of a hometown discount is that if he gives too much of a discount, it makes it easy for the Bucks to just match it.

Why are people linking them so much? Gordon has been a better player than Zach Lavine has. Gordon has helped his team already. He's proven something.

Not to mention playing him out of position and lacking any actual coaching. That kid is a PF and needs a solid coach, his upside is underrated.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Very random and unreliable source, but Rondo for 2yr/$16mil is a contract I'd be all over. Lauri's development heavily relies on a guard activating his full-potential and Kris needs a mentor/competition for his starting position. I would love Rondo to retire a Bull and become the next head coach after Hoiberg.
