Saw Kobe a few years ago on stage at the Hollywood Bowl for a John Williams concert. The crowd at the Bowl went absolutely nuts when Kobe came on to the stage. People were so happy to see him. This sucks soo much.

This is terrible. Horribly sad and completely shocking. So young and much left to do outside of what he already accomplished on the basketball court. just a sad day for the nba and it’s fans and the Bryant family and the families of whoever else involved in this crash.
Prayers and condolences to all parties involved.

as a Celtics fan- the lakers are our enemy, our greatest rival. This being said-Kobe was my favorite player to watch. Just loved his game.

I’ve never been personally emotional about celebrities passing away but my god this just doesn’t feel right. I never knew Kobe Bryant but it almost feels like a friend. Like someone you knew growing up.

I can only hope his family can heal somehow. The man never even got to his inevitable HOF induction.

I can't believe it, I thought it was another hoax. I feel for his family and friends. I'm stunned, a reminder how fragile and random life can be. RIP Kobe.
