We have an open 2-way slot don’t we?

Nope (Martin & Garrett). We do have a regular roster spot though.

I think we should be able to sign Martin sometime at the end of January or start of Feb without cap ramifications. Open up spot to sign him to a two way. KZ can also be traded to free open a spot or a two for one deal involving Duncan and KZ to open up an extra roster spot.

My guess we’ll sign Martin, and then make someone else a two way. I forget the deadline for when Martin has to be converted by

If Guy is worthy they will sign Martin early and figure out a way to get rid of KZ to get out of the tax.

Wiltside wrote:Yurt with another double double. You can tell he’s still learning, and he’s a lot more tentative offensively than he showed in SL. But it’s encouraging to see him playing well. We have a player here.

Looking forward to Spo unleashing him properly next season. He’s a stretch big, but we’re playing him exclusively as a lob catcher and rim roller. He has more strings to his bow than that, once he gets comfortable.

He's a walking double double if he gets 25 mins. His defense needs to improve tho. I'm sure that's gonna be the focus in his offseason. I really hope Bam puts the time in the summer to work on the corner 3s so we can see him and Yurts play together in some minutes

Chalmers and Haslem will probably get minutes together in a blowout. Perhaps against a depleted team. Houston even pressed the Fakers so in this depleted era maybe they are not the worst.

He had a crazy block at the rim in the 4th quarter. He’s a damn good player we stumbled upon.

Yurt's blocking a dunk that would have cut Rocket's deficit to 5 with all the momentum in 4Q was the decisive play.

Butler was such a monster tonight. Most dominate player on the court.

A bunch of (athletic but) undisciplined defenders. he picked em apart whenever we needed buckets

Was some real clownish defense on Houston’s part in that fourth especially in the penalty. Especially from KPJ lol

Does Yurt own the franchise record for double doubles already?

He's turned into our modern day Rony Seikaly.

Weird how a skilled player with size could do so good consistently..

I remember crying and pleading for Spo to play him early on. Glad it's looking like Yurt is becoming a key part of the rotation.

Let's hope so Panda. I appreciate every game where we play more traditional lineups and stop attempting to play trends.

Still feel Yurt will be on the outside once Bam and Dedmon are healthy. But he’s showing a fair bit for a rookie the past couple weeks.

I still have nightmares from last series vs Bucks. We got pummeled so hard in the glass by them. It won't be an issue in case we meet them.
