I vaguely remember a line from Jerry Kramer's Instant Reply where Lombardi (I believe) blew a gasket over Hornung and McGee's antics and Lombardi made a crack something along the lines of "If you find something that is worth the fines of breaking curfew over, come and wake me up and I'll join you"

* How have the new Recievers performed? If they excel, then Lazard is probably expendable (and I like Lazard)
* Crosby probably hangs it up - Please dear God after kicking the game winner in the SB.....

Later edit: IF the Pack gets to the Owl, then Crosby, Cobb, and Lewis retire afterwards. According to Spofford, Nixon looks like the #4 CB (at least thru OTA's and Davis is the #3 Safety.

Green Bay Packers President Mark Murphy outlined his next three years on Wednesday, sharing with local media what he’d like to accomplish in his role.

In Murphy's recent monthly question and answer column, “Murphy Take Five,” a fan asked if the requirement for Packers board members to retire at 70 years old applies to the president as well. Murphy answered, “They go to emeritus status when they turn 70. Since I am a member of the board, the policy applies to me and I will retire on July 13, 2025, when I turn 70.

“The organization's executive committee has started to make plans for the process and timeline to find my successor. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the Packers president. I plan on making the last three years as successful as possible, with multiple Super Bowl championships!”

Most of the commentary is executive boilerplate, but it's first I've seen by Murphy announcing a definite date for retirement.

I forgot about the 70 thing. It was the same for Harlan although he had to stay longer with the John Jones debacle.
