This **** is so damn stupid. The first iteration of the skills competition was easily the best: players going through a simple but thorough course trying to get the best time. Both the race format and these new team formats have been lame.

I think they had trouble getting guys in the first one. It was easy to look bad if you rushed and ended up missing 3-4 passes in a row. That turned into guys jogging and going slow to make sure they at least made the pass or just refusing to participate

For the first several years most participants were All-stars.

The 3 point shootout and dunk contest are always good though

putting the stats on the court during gameplay would be nuts. also putting the distance a shooter takes the shot and they can probably figure out a way to see if the player's toe is on the line or not for the 3's. or even if the ball bounces out of bounds. it could eliminate a ton of reviews and save a bunch of time.

I don't see games ever being played on this.

Too expensive to maintain and install.

Glass surface instead of hardwood. Can't imagine it's good for the knees and diving for loose balls
