Sorry, had to step away from the comp. Does anyone think I should still add the name? It starts the poll from scratch...which who really cares at this point.

or is the klompcasm?

imo Bynum is the 3rd best center an Ellis is 3rd best sg.

Ray Allen only merited the #5 a few years ago which became Jeff Green. Bynum and Ellis both have huge contracts and either have major injury issues or can't really play defense. They're not worth the #2.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Cavs could just wait and snatch him up at #4.

How disgusting would that be?

Draft for talent, trade for need.
Utah might very well take him anyway, it's not like Hayward has set the world on fire in his rookie season.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

And there's a pretty good chance that somebody after #4 would throw a package out there for the #2.

It's simple...take Williams. The team needs talent. It needs talent in the starting lineup and off the bench. Williams will at least fill one of those.

Can't see Utah taking him.

Williams is moreso a PF than SF. He can definitely play SF but I see him at the 4 most of his career (vice versa with Beasley). Millsap / Jefferson / Favors front-court with D-Williams in the mix? Ick.

Wolves have to trade the #2 (Williams) and not let the Jazz have the opportunity to let Williams get traded from the Jazz for more value - especially considering they are division rivals.

Trade it for Bogut, trade Wes for Iggy. Add 2 of the best defensive players in the league at their respective positions, both of whom are vets w/ playoff experience, play positions of need, compliment our young guys and will still be effective for another 1/2 decade.

Rubio
Iggy
Beas
Love
Bogut

With something like Luke/Wayne/Webster/Tolly/Pek off the bench.

A Rubio + Williams pick n' roll combo is the best thing we could have going. I think we have to take Williams.

Just draft Knight. We need an iso scorer. I have a feeling this guy will be a star. He was a big name in HS ball and those usually turn out pretty good in the pros. If Rubio doens't come next season then we can try Knight as PG for a year to see how it works. If Westbrook can play PG why can't Knight?

Williams and then trade with Webster, #20, and filler to Golden State for Ellis and #11.

Use 11 and Flynn to move up a few spots to get flavor of the month (aka Double B).

Only if they got the mother of all deals for Kevin Love. Which they won't.

Who is this "Williams" backing up the 2-spot? I hope it's not Derrick Williams.

That would indeed fail miserably.

Derozan is the main piece on our team. I'll try my best to think of something intriguing for both.

Kevin Love for Derrick Favors and #3.

C - Derrick Favors
PF - Derrick Williams (#2)

...wait, let's go get that Derrick Rose fellow while we're at it.

#3, Beasley, and Rubio for Derrick Rose.

HA!

When it's all said and done I think you will keep the pick and end up drafting Kanter. though still.

I failed to realize that this roster has no SG outside of Wayne Ellington. Just like with WJ, we'll make Williams a SG.
