Sixers
Head coach-Doug Collins: Offense caters to the strength of the personel/ Defese is the same swarming defense the sixers used for the 2010/2011 season (With shotblockers this time around)

Starters-PG. Jason Kidd, SG. Monta Ellis, SF. Dorell Wright, PF. Al Jefferson, C. Darko Milicic

Bench-SG/PG/SF. Tracy McGrady, PF. Glen Davis, PF. Ryan Anderson, C. Jeff Foster, PG/SG. Greivis Vasquez C. Hamed Haddadi, PG. Mustafa Shakur

Overview:
The 2011/2012 Sixers will be and extremely tough team to defend. With the savy future HOF PG. Jason Kidd running the show with an all world scorer in Monta Ellis as his back court mate defenses will be on their heels from the opening tip. Kidd can find any player on his team blind folded with one arm behind his back for and easy bucket. Monta Ellis is a dynamic player that can get his shot against any defender for a consistant 25 points a night. He's also good at a seeing double teams and making a quick decision with the ball as prof to his 6 assist per game last year. The sixers also have a former allstar to provide versitility and a spark off the bench if needed in T-Mac, while not the 30ppg player he use to be he still produces when givin minutes. Also the 6'6" up and coming pg formally of the memphis grizzlies Greivis Vasquez and Mustafa Shakur

At the small forward position is Dorell Wright who had a break out season last year. Standing 6'9" with good lateral movement and quick hands makes him a very underrated defender. He avg over 1 block and 1 steal per game last year. His quick release and deadly 3pt shoting at over 40% will also keep defenses honest. Renaldo Balkman is another sf on the roster used strictly for defensive purposess. Maning the big forward position is Al Jefferson, An absolute monster in the paint. There's only a handful of players in the league that can match his brute strenght but the few that do usaully lack his quickness which allows him to put up 20/10 easy with a couple blocks while shoting a high fg percentage. Al jefferson can also move over to the 5 spot to make room for lights out 3pt shoter Ryan Anderson to provide even more floor balance or the big rugged high energy Glen Davis.

At center is the highly underrated 7" tall Darko Milicic. While not a go to scorer he does have decent touch around the basket and good hands. He is also a hugh defensive pressence blocking over 2 shots per game while playing only 28 mpg. Jeff Foster is a savy vet that plays sound post defense and is a monster on the glass with a very high motor. Hamed Haddadi is a 7'2" project at this point. But when givin minutes he has shown flashes of good shot blocking and rebounding

Conclusion:
The 2011/2012 sixers is a team with championship asporations. With Kidd in the drivers seat giving Ellis and Jefferson the ball in the spots they want it and Dorell Wright keeping the D honest things are looking good for this squad. Coach Collins will make sure the defense will comunicate and play hard. He has the offense the defense and a great bench with 6 qulity bigs to have this team primed for a deep play off run.
The sixers also have 9 players 26 years of age and under. Mustafa Shakur is 27. Kidd, T-Mac and Foster are the only players over 30. Kidd is the only starter over 27 so even in the next 5 years the sixers are still in perfect shape and will be one of the top teams each of those years.

I just wanted to thank all the judges who took the time to read these and give their valued opinions. Its greatly appreciated. Thank You

DALLAS MAVERICKS- BE THE GM

Starters:
Image
C- Andrea Bargani- 7’0” 250 lbs, 24 years old

Image
PF- Brandon Bass- 6’8” 250 lbs, 26 years old

Image
SF- Wilson Chandler- 6’8” 220 lbs, 24 years old

Image
SG- Paul George- 6’8” 210 lbs, 21 years old

Image
PG- Russell Westbrook- 6’3” 187 lbs, 22 years old

Key Reserves:
SG- Raja Bell- 6’5” 206 lbs, 34 years old
C- Brendan Haywood- 7’0” 260, 31 years old
F/C- Anthony Tolliver- 6’9” 243, 26 years old
PG- Steve Blake- 6’3” 163 lbs, 31 years old
G/F-Sonny Weems- 6’6” 203 lbs, 26 years old

Remaining Bench:
F/C- Jordan Hill, C- Jason Collins, F-DaJuan Summers, G-Manny Harris, PG-Marcus Banks

Minutes Breakdown:
C-Andrea Bargnani (20,15/PF), Brendan Haywood (20), Jason Collins
PF-Brandon Bass (25), Anthony Tolliver (8,8/C) ,Jordan Hill
SF-Wilson Chandler (33), Sonny Weems(2,5/SG), DaJuan Summers
SG-Paul George (18,13/SF), Raja Bell (25), Manny Harris
PG-Russell Westbrook (35), Steve Blake (13), Marcus Banks

Offense:
In set plays, this is Russell Westbrook’s team and his ability to drive and create and create space for his shooters. The high/low post game and ability to shoot jumpers within 15 feet of the basket of Bargani and Bass will draw defenders away from the basket allowing Westbrook, Chandler and George’s to both cut and drive to the basket. As they work the ball in through these methods, George, Chandler, and Bargani also have the ability to float out beyond the perimeter and hits 3s as well.In transition is where this team will also find a lot of success as Wesbrook will work a lot of magic once again with George and Chandler, creating opportunities and quick look 3s. The bench can also help provide a bit more athleticism with Anthony Tolliver and Sonny Weems. While it isn’t reflected in the minutes allocation, Chandler could even play some PF with Tolliver at C in order to really push the ball and keep their opponents off balance.

Defense:
The athleticism of the backcourt and wings on this team allow them to defend almost any team, create turnovers and push the ball the other direction.
While teams often bring youth and energy from their bench to infuse life on to the floor, the Mavs bring experience, length and defense in one of the league’s most tenacious defenders in Raja Bell and Brendan Haywood. This helps provide size and deal with any matchup issues that they may meet, especially in the front court. While Bargnani is not a great defender, his weakness will be help made up by having either Haywood or Brandon Bass on the floor at all times with their bulk and shot blocking abilities.

Future:
I challenge the judges to find a more talented group of starters with an average age under 25 (the Mavs average 23.4). While this team currently has the balance of youth and veterans to be a playoff team, as the starters continue to develop there is no ceiling for this team. Westbrook will eventually be the top point guard in the league and George and Chandler both have the opportunity to be a top 10 player at their positions. Bargani and Bass may be fairly close to meeting their potential but their length and ability to shoot support the athleticism of the rest of this crew. While some of these role players are a bit older there are replacements waiting in the wings further down the bench.

Last Thoughts:
Russell Westbrook has the chance to really make this his team and grow with a tremendous group of young players while being surrounded by veteran leadership. This is a bit different than his current Thunder team that is completely dependent on youth. This mix provides a chance to win now and to contend later. While many youthful teams focus on athleticism, this team balances it with the ability to shoot which makes that athletic ability that much more dangerous especially as this group further develops their game.

This is going to be short and sweet.

You can see my distributed minutes in my sig.. my 5 starters are:

Chris Paul
Ronnie Brewer
Danny Granger
JJ Hickson
Kendrick Perkins

my main bench players/role players are Jared Dudley, Mareese Speights, Aaron Gray, and AJ Price

we have a top tier superstar in Chris Paul and a multi time All star in danny granger. JJ hickson is very young and has future all star games in him, and perkins is one of if not the best defensive post players in the league when healthy. Paul and granger are absolutely PERFECT fits for eachother. Both space the floor very well, and Granger can play off the ball as well as a go to guy. We have to closers on the floor. Dudley is an absolute sniper from 3 and can defend and play the 2 and the 3 spots, which he will be doing a lot of. Speights provides offense off the bench. Aaron Gray and our other back up bigs just provide huge bodies down low to make teams play more on the perimeter. Brewer is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league and pairs with Chris Paul, another great defender to form a very formidable defense on the outside. With Hickson and Perkins down low keeping teams out of the paint, our defense should be top 10 in the league easily. Brewer can also play and defend the 2 and the 3 as well.

One of the things that is perfect about this team is no one is above the age of 28. This team can compete to win now, and in 5 years, i dont see another team in this league that will be as good as this team.

The other thing we plan on doing is playing atleast 6 minutes a game, and sometimes more, and definately during end of games, we will be using a small lineup of:

Chris Paul
Ronnie Brewer
Jared Dudley
Danny Granger
JJ Hickson

This lineup will be very difficult for any team to defend. Granger has spent time at the 4 before, and hickson has played a lot of time at center.

Basically our philosophy is drive and kick and pick and roll offense.... 1/3 P&R 1/4 P&R and 3/4 P&R... lots of pick and rolls and drive kick. Hickson can score on the block and facing up and with a jumper. Our big men on defense are used to just be big bodies down low, and not give up position low on the block, which is why most of our bigs at the center position are really big guys. Aaron Gray is very underated, he gives Dwight Howard fits everytime they face eachother, which is why New Orleans has beat Orlando quite a few times lately.

Hopefully you judge this team based on it having 2 star players, a great offense, a very very good defense, and the ONLY team in this thing with no one over the age of 28.

Boston Celtics 2011/12

PG- Steve Nash, Beno Udrih
SG- Andre Iguodala, Sasha Vujacic, Jason Kapono
SF- Hedo Turkoglu, Richard Hamilton * 6th man, James Posey
PF- Antawn Jamison, Troy Murphy
C- Andray Blatche, Kurt Thomas

Team Philospopy: balance and versatility. There are many interchangable parts. The team can go small with Posey at the 4 and at any point we can have multiple ballhandlers on the floor.

"O"
The team will be a fast break first unit. Nash, Iguodala and Turkoglu can all lead the break. In the half-court, Jamison, Blatche and Turkoglu can provide post options. The team is a great collection of shooters, outside of Iguodala. The hope is that Murphy returns to his double-double ways while providing big minutes off the bench. He and Rip Hamilton will be instant offense as the 2nd unit should be able to put up some points. Vujacic and Kapono can shoot the eyes out of a snake and Udrih may be the best backup PG in the league.

"D"
The team will rely on match up zones. Iguodala provides a solid wing presence and Thomas provides solid D on the blocks. Overall, the D will have to rebound on D and fight within the zone and rely on the shooting and execution of the offense.

The key to this team will be executing on offense, very good shooting (especially beyond the arc), the versatility of the roster and the depth of the roster. This depth will allow the team to run hard consistently, as Iguodala and Udrih can spell Nash at the point and keep him fresh for the last 5 minutes of games.

The relentless shooting, depth and execution of this team will frustrate opponents.

I'll be making a separate thread tomorrow. That way, everyone can see the judges scores in the first 6 posts. Plus, it looks cleaner.

Would lobbying for Thursday at midnight or Friday some time work at all? I'm getting a bit overwhelmed.

It's amazing what happens to your perception of players when you throw em in the air and they land every which way. Once I got a system worked out the grading got faster and I've finished 20%... after about 6 hours. It'll go down but if I get it to a half hour each that's still 12 hours between now and Thursday.

Take all the time you need. At least you are working on them which is really I wanted to hear. I know how time consuming it is.

That goes out to all the judges...if you need more time, just let me know.

How about this...all the results must be in by Friday, June 10th at 3:00 PM EST.

"Perfect" time for judging...was hoping this week would be quieter so the judges wouldn't be occupied with anything else, lol.

Yes. Friday afternoon would be much better. Past two days have been crazy with Sixers' sale news Tuesday, then double workout today followed by a laptop meltdown -- looks like all programs were wiped out -- posting four videos, writing/blogging and then visiting my folks on their anniversary.

Question: In coming up with total for future, do I take into account that a player can become a free agent in the next few years or not?

Thanks.
