Some random guy in the elevator at my work was reading something on his phone about the Packers acquiring Tamba Hali. Has anyone else heard anything to verify this rumor? Or have they even heard the rumor at all anywhere?

Don't think that is true, haven't heard anything and the trade deadline was last week.

Yeah, you just Google Talked me that, hah. ;)

Not sure what the hell he was reading then. I never have any idea when the trade deadline is because it seems so irrelevant in the NFL. :P

I am curious where that guy is getting that from then. Maybe it was a "trying to" as in they were trying before the deadline.

Oh well. :D

As shocking as it would have sounded a few weeks ago, KC could end up winning the AFC West.

They beat Vikings, Colts and Raiders down their QB.

KC still sucks.

How great of a move was it by TT for resigning Aaron in 2008. Look at the deals for other QBs (inferior ones) today.

13 of the 14 most watched TV shows this fall have been NFL games. Pretty unbelievable how popular the NFL has become. Wish the NBA modeled it's league a little bit more like the NFL.

The NBA has become unwatchable for me, and it has little little to do with the NBA's model.

On the Bears board in the should the Bears go after TO or some thread name similar to that.

chibearsfan wrote:we dont need TO...we have a playmaking wr who can get the ball in traffic and is lethal on the post route in roy williams...devin hester is the best slot wr in the game...johnny knox is the ideal #2 with his blazing speed, ability to catch in traffic, pure route running....earl bennett and zansinbacker are great possessional wrs who can catch everything and they run perfect routes.....

Not sure if serious.

All you have to do is read his history, he's hated and mocked by the rest of the Bears fans on that board.

Time for me to get on my random Fitzpatrick soap box. I realize it isn't a crippling contract, but that was a Bucks-esque extension for Fitz.

I'm so pumped for this Dolphins-Giants game at noon, can't believe this is the best they could come up with.

I was, unknowingly going in, with a bunch of Chicago sports fans last night. And otherwise normal people, as soon as sports came up as a topic they turned into stereotypical Chicago sports fans. Among the things said and admitted: 'Of course I expect my team to win the title every year, I'm a Cubs fan,' 'Cutler is just as good as Rodgers, our offensive line is just so bad,' 'Cubs will contend next year with Ipe-stin (sic) at the helm,' and maybe best of all 'Forte is playing as good as LT ever did.'
