27 wins, regardless if NY is back or not. An improvement, esp. with the shortened season.

No, for ji the Draft is always the holy grail. Even when we're good he wants us to tank. 8th seed is the worst case scenario as far as he's concerned.

24-42, based on Wall cutting down on turnovers, Seraphin becoming a viable backup at C, and modest improvements overall in our D.
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

15-51 and probably the record for the worst shooting NBA team in league history.

You can't win in this league when 75% of your roster cannot reliably hit a 15 foot jump shot. It's just never going to happen.

Another lottery year and hopefully we can still sucker a team into taking McGee before it's too late.

I bought the training camp hype, but tonight I saw the real deal game feed.

The Wizards trailed by 40 at home against the 76ers in the third quarter. Wall looks no better at all. Nor does anyone else on this team. The veteran players on this team are all below-average players. Seeing Lewis get a technical on a charge and Blatche charge and McGee falter, I think as long as Flip is coaching this team will be bad.

I think the Wizards will go 18-48

Mike Prada on BulletsForever rightfully pointed out that the team looked really tired. There were a lot of shots that hit the front of the rim. Those 2-a-day practices in training camp might be catching up with them a bit.

I'm not too worried yet. It's just one game. I'm sure they're not THIS bad.

They do need some shooters though. Not only would Young provide shooting, but he'd force Crawford to get some more minutes as the backup PG or as the primary scoring option on the 2nd unit. Crawford needs the ball in his hands and a green light to be effective. That's not going to work alongside Wall and Blatche

i have to change my prediction. even on a good shooting night..this team will still struggle. And the defense and rebounding are awful. Low team IQ...bad mix of players.

15-51. See you in Seacacus

I don't know about the Wizards record, but the Sixers look like legitimate contenders.

Based on this pre season game 20-46 we really need NY back on this team!

This team will be lucky to go 10-56

They will go down as the worst shooting team in NBA history.

They will break the record for fewest assists

EG will have seen enough after just 5 games and he will fire Flip, all the coaches and the ball boys.
Then he will turn around an fire himself. CCJ will be so excited he jumps up, hits his head on his ceiling. Discovering he has amazing leaps, he takes a plan to DC the next day and make the team as a walk on.

The booth will develop a leak in the ceiling that almost like magic drips water on very realgm members heads during rainy days.

Yes they did. I had forgotten how much progress they had made. And they have a very productive bench.

I was at the game last night and that was my thought as-well. Flip and his offense HAS to-go. None of our rosters strengths are utilized and last year we had a lot of trouble scoring the ball. It shouldn't be THIS hard.

dribble penetration, fast break, whenever blatche decides to play inside, and on occasion the pick and roll.

Basically, Flips offense needs to be ditched. The team had more success running instead of running down and setting-up the half-court.

Wall & Crawford are awful together, things opened-up for the Wiz when Crawford led the attack last year or when Wall did not have Crawford as a side-kick (missing Young there)

Brand was picking up quick fouls the few times someone tried posting him up. Post-play for both McGee & Seraphin should be encouraged when the match-ups favor us, (it will improve).

Why is Turiaf getting playing-time ahead of Hamady? Hawes nearly had a double-double. Hamady at-least is a scrappy defender and we did keep him for a reason no? Test Hamady.

I don't ever want to see another minute of Shard Lewis, I'd rather see Ves & SIngleton get all of those minutes...they might even be able to shoot better than Lewis.

Again, the roster with it's limitations could achieve a Philly-style turnaround with the right coach and new mix of players IMO. We have no-where to go but up after last night.
