And you are giving advice to JET who is a ten trillion times better than you at basketball. Double standard much? :D

I agree with NYC and blackstar..your opinion lacks basic logic, lulz

telling the truth isn't an insult btw..

The truth? no no, in YOUR OPINION I'm an idiot.

Let's not get opinions and facts mixed up here Volcano. metalinguss already did a good job of that.

My opinion is that your opinion is preposterous...

See how that works???

Only you could logically attack me and say everyone has a right to a opinion, when all I was doing was interjecting my own by responding to yours...

Sure, he had ONE good game (the magic game where he was on fire from 3). Outside of that, Smith is known more for his comedy than his basketball ability. Older fans shall disagree, but the guy is a better comedic than a basketball player.

Giving a guy (who has done more than Smith could ever dream of apart from winning 2 championships) advice (or constructive criticism) to a player that has accomplished more is what you call "(Please Use More Appropriate Word)". 8-)

Intelligent people realize you can learn something from anybody...

Kenny at the very least played in the NBA, NBA players are coached on a daily basis by people who didn't even play in the NBA and they listen to them...

Your talking nonsense...

There is a MASSIVE difference between a player and a coach.

I don't see Kenny Smith coaching teams and winning championship rings as a coach? Do you?

He's a glorified comic that played in the NBA. That doesnt make him an expert. You continue to harp on about coaching, ect ect. If Smith was a former coach that had a winning record, then sure, you could take his opinion and run with it. However, your argument is based on "ridiculous" comparisons to coaching and players. Smith is not a coach, move on from that.

You're missing the point. It's not that Smith can or cannot be a coach, it's that people don't need to have exceptional skill at something to understand it.

If you took someone like Lawrence Frank before he became the Nets coach and put him on TV, would you say that what he said was wrong? He clearly understood the game at a high level by that point, but just because he hasn't proven to you he could be a head coach is his opinion all of a sudden wrong? You might not want to accept it but that just makes you a judgemental cynic.

And you keep saying Smith provides more comedy than analysis on the show. His analysis is actually on point most of the time, and he's definitely not the comedic lynchpins of the show like Shaq and Barkley are.

Firstly, I'm not in the media, JET is. Secondly, your opinion I agree with. JET is 20 trillion times better than me at basketball. My opinion still stands. JET has no business offering advice to a player who has done far more than he ever will in this league.

I don't believe I'm sitting here offering advice to anyone. I never came out and said, "No Kenny, STOP offering LeBron advice". I said, Kenny is in "no position" to offer LeBron advice. Huge difference.

I didn't have an issue with your opinion. My issue was that you were dismissing Kenny Smith's opinion on LeBron just because he wasn't the player that LeBron is. That's hypocritical.

Funny thing is, I agree with Smith's statement. LeBron has no clutch game. He's got no 4th quarter. Though Smith in is no position to judge based on his name alone. He's a nobody.

jc23 wrote:Big difference between the two is Kobe is not tweeting how Kenny and the fellas are on point and how he hears Kenny. Maybe that is looking to deep into it but its unusual to me for a player of that caliber to have an epiphany moment due to a half time show.

Kobe says ****'em Im going to take that shot till they cut off my arm.

Bron was born with his amazing basketball abilities just like he was born with certain personality traits. Well maybe not born with but he has grown into them and people do not really change much at the age of 27. Because of some of these traits guys like bron and howard are just different in certain game situations compared to guys like kobe and cp3.

Bulls and Knicks fans don't always agree on stuff, but I think this is a very good point. James cares too much. I think he's a mentally soft player with great skills. The whole decision process took a bite out of him. He went from being a loved guy to a hated guy. I do think that weighs on him a lot.

Thats contradicting. You say you have no issue with my opinion, yet you claim that it's also hypocritical?
See where that is going? Look I don't mind if you disagree with my opinion, just stay truthful to it. Don't contradict yourself.

I'm stupid because I voiced my opinion? Wow, I guess the freedom of speech act in America truthfully is a hypocritical statement.

The land of the free? Or the land of the free, but the home of the judgemental?

The land of the free means everyone has a opinion...

Freedom of speech which I assume you are referring to, means freedom from the government not from other people reacting to your opinion...

Unless the American government comes to your house, knocks on your door and takes you to a secret prison your freedom of speech is still good to go...

People have the freedom of speech to call you an idiot for your opinion...

It's ok many stupid people such as yourself still have no idea what freedom of speech actually means...

All Freedom of speech protects you from is your government overstepping it's power and jailing and beating you in a secret prison somewhere....

So in America you have the freedom to go tell your boss to **** off for example, but you can't scream "freedom of speech" when he fires your ass...
