and yet they don't feature any similar design elements. It just seems like an odd comparison. The Hawks jerseys have all their design features under the arms, as do most teams.

They have a slightly different pattern so not completely the same, but still feel similar. Also the colour scheme. Basically, black instead of dark blue.

I agree with everyone else that it looks nice, but isn't it a bit too much of a rip off of Portland's jerseys? I don't think we'd be able to use the black on red like they do.

Also I'd make the numbers a little less cartoon like, but I recognize those are from the old jerseys.

yeah. get rid of the triangles above the name, shrink the #s and use a normal fort, and its pretty good.
would be tempted to ask how it looks with gunmetal grey instead of black

The gradients give it a unique look. Maybe change the colour of the background "claws". I'm going to be bold and say try a navy blue.

I agree with the numbers, they do look a bit cartoonish. Hey Goodjoey would it be possible to make another design with a more classic font for the numbers? and how about just having the red sash only at the front of the jersey and leaving it just black for back. I also like the Idea of having an alternate colour as gunmetal grey as someone else has mentioned.

These are the best of the bunch, the rest kind of suck.

And then a bit of a twist on the black uni, bringing back the purple from the teams roots:



I'll post some logos and other bits for the competition tomorrow. I think I'll give a new jersey/logo concept a go too as I have an idea in mind.
