Noah Vonleh?

Is there any guy in the NBA who would be a solid comparison? He is 11/19 from deep this season and his Free Throw Percentage is at 72,3% which is pretty good for a big man. Can he become the 4th pick in the draft?

If everything goes right for him? Better rebounding Chris Bosh.

I am looking at guys like Zbo, West, Scola. Vonleh to me is a below the rim big man who will be all about feel/craftiness/gaining and holding position against defenders with his body well + probable perimeter range.

He reminds me a bit of Bosh as well. Bosh was more skilled and refined, he's more agile and more intelligent, but Noah has that same smooth touch. Noah seems like a dumber version of Bosh and maybe a bit stronger.

Fischella, you are a ltitle bias. SEC is a much weaker conference and you said julius randle would dominate the big 10 which is arguably the strongest conference. I don't see any evidence that randle and kentucky wildcats would perform better against wisconsin,, michigan state, iowa st, ohio st, and minnesota. On the contrary, I see the opposite. I don't understand why you even said that SEC is a better conference than big 10.

I can see a poor man Rasheed with Vonleh, which would be good.

first time i've heard that Sheed comparison. I think that's a pretty good one actually.

i'd have vonleh's ceiling closer to a shareef abdur-rahim with better defense. his shot looks promising and i think he has just enough footwork and mobility to wheel around defenders.

Nearly identical measurements as Noah, but Noah is only 18 and has plenty of room to grow. Kid has a lot of offensive potential... Great length, great touch, and a really nice looking shooting stroke. He is definately not a tweener either 6'9ish w/o shoes and a 7'4 wingspan he is definitely big enough to play PF.

Yeah, Bosh is much longer.
You can't play Center in the NBA with a 8'10 reach, with a 9'1? yea you can, Vonleh is all neck.

I like the Reef comp. also, but Vonleh has better potential in defense and I don't know if he will be a 20ppg scorer.

i don't see the bosh comparisons
bosh was just so gifted offensively already in college.
at least vonleh's mechanics aren't broken so he has room to improve, but still very unpolished.
