At this point I'm pretty sure we keep Melo. Been absolutely no noise on Melo to Bulls and Melo to Lakers is dumb. And Melo likes his money.

Upset it's probably for the max but there's union pressures and all that. If Phil will offer it, I'll trust he thinks he can build a good team around him, even though it's not my preferred option.

Which could only happen with a sign and trade.

I'd take wiggins to start a rebuild.

But would you really see Melo playing for clev?

Lala ain't living in Cleveland!

Say goodbye to your brand and the legacy you truly desire Melo!

Melo, you now become #1 on the mercenary list above Lebron when it comes to bailing on your home team, only Lebron returned and used your dumb ass to bring home a championship!

CAN YOU SAY..........BURNING MELO JERSEYS ON ESPN, CNN, ETC.!!!!!       :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I think Melo would do it to play with Lebron. Melo is a small city guy (B'More) and he played most of his career in Denver.

But...don't see LaLa being happy in Cleveland at all. She would probably stay in New York or LA. It would likely destroy their marriage.

B More is small, but its a waaaay more popping city than Cleveland.

Combine that with the fact that the Knicks have no first-round draft pick to trade, and the likelihood of the Sixers making their one move with all of this cap space be for Shumpert are slim.

Smith did not make it sound like the talks were serious, but it does fit in with the general feeling around the league -- that the Sixers could end up getting some serious assets in return for helping a team that is trying to clear space.

there's other teams who want to dump contracts on philly and orlando too. and you gotta pay to get rid of them both. it will be difficult just to get rid of one.

I wouldn't mind that either. Send Timmy with Amare. Sign Gasol.

I actually still think Shumpert can be a better impact player of Timmy. Call me crazy but I still have hope for shumpert. Timmy defense is borderline the worst I have ever seen from a guard.

Why do the Knicks always have to give teams their most valuable assets to get rid of players with one year left on their contract? Am surprised they are not offering Bargnani, THJR and a future first round pick to someone in order to get rid of Bargnani's contract.

timmy doesn't pass, can't play d and is a 3 point shooter who doesn't shoot the greatest percentage. i don't have much hope for him.

Why not wait until we see if they can ACTUALLY trade Stat first.

I'm highly dubious.
