Stop thinking, John. If you're wide open from 3, shoot it with confidence. You're a career 30% shooter from that range, which probably means you're a 35% shooter when wide open. That means it's a good shot. Take it.

That and I hated how often he would just sit on the ball dribbling it until about 5 on the shot clock.

You gotta attack non stop Wall. Look at how effective we were in OT when Wall was in more attack mode.

Him and Beal were clearly psyched out by the playoffs and Toronto's home crowd. Never been more obvious that those kids were nervous. They were aiming their shots, throwing crap off the side of the backboard, airballing left and right

There's no excuse for Wall moving forward though because Toronto's defense isn't very imposing, whether on the perimeter or in the paint. He needs to make his presence felt offensively this series and I believe he will

Otto and Paul are getting their well deserved recognition, but guys - let's take a moment to appreciate and to not take for granted the star who makes all this possible. Johnny Ballgame.

Wow.

Wall only played 25 minutes.

Still got 10 assists.

He is way in the league for assists in the playoffs.

I thought he had a bigger impact passing the ball than his stats even suggest. There were a bunch of plays in which he made a great pass to a player that was fouled at the rim and shot FT's. Best passer/distributor in the NBA.

Another thing that makes Pierce that much more valuable to the team-calming the young guns down when they have to deal with a rowdy crowd. Game 1 was bad but by Game 2 both Wall and Beal were shooting lights out

Wall leading all NBA players in playoff APG average by more than 4. He's over 13
and no one else is over 9.

He's been orchestrating this offense brilliantly so far. Looking forward to this matchup against Teague.

Remember when people thought Kyle Lowry was a better PG? LOL.

Wall just dominated straight up, offensively AND defensively. His all around game is why he's the best PG in the East and IMO 2nd best PG in the league(still gotta put Curry #1 even though I really still don't see him as a pure PG).

He's pretty much disappeared since last year.

That would be like discovering that Rod McKuen and Richard Nixon were really the same person.Never saw those two together.

JJ pretty accurately called out a lot of Wall's shortcomings, but was maybe a bit too certain Wall wouldn't evolve. I like to think Wall's not finished evolving, and the playoffs so far look like he's rising to a new level.

Wall has pretty much obliterated his competition so far in the playoffs.

Wall's numbers: 17.4 ppg, 12.6 apg, 4.6 rpg, 1.4 bpg, 43% shooting

Wall's comp (Lowry and Teague) combined: 14.3 ppg, 5.5 apg, 35% shooting

Dominant on both sides of the ball. Wow.

He was a superstar late yesterday with his clutch plays to close the game.

Soooo glad he's ours. Someday he'll be the center of our championship parade in D.C.
