Trippier's crosses are a thing of beauty. At least that's been a positive from this match.

Why would you leave someone so open?
Especially when you know he's gonna use the cannon!!!

Re: 2015
cba to be upset about the game. Would have loved to win, but less games for us and it overall felt like a friendly. Hard to take the game seriously when someone like Fazio starts.
Much rather focus on a real cup.

Re: 2015
Disappointed in Poch for putting out such a **** side in the NLD. We got mugged off by a player like Flamini who's got one foot in a retirement home.
Don't care if it's the Capital One Cup or a European Cup final, we go full strength against them. We don't win enough trophies to be elitist about any cup. It's not like we're going to do anything exceptional in the league.

I'm not too worried. Many of last season's performers haven't been at their best just yet. Aguero, Costa, Sanchez, etc.

Re: 2015
Not worried about Kane. He is still putting in the work and the goals should come. He may be forcing it a bit, but with another goal scorer in Son, he shouldn't have to worry about carrying the whole goal scoring load like last year.

Re: 2015
My God, those teams were hilariously mediocre too. How they ended up with quality players the likes of Gullit, Vialli, Casiraghi (before his unfortunate injuries), Zola, Desailly, Deschamps etc will forever be a mystery for me.
Personally for me, I'd see it through, the season is already lost so at this point the team and Mourinho just has to concentrate on improving their play and hopefully not only compete for the CL but also have something to build for after January, if we can close out the season well then all is not lost. Also, Jose means so much to the club that out of every manager that has come in for the Abramovich era, that if anybody deserves a chance to turn it around it's him. I also don't see any of the potential replacements being any better mainly because this team is built around Mourinho's ideology, bringing in somebody else would mean a complete change from top to bottom. of the playing squad.
Also, I feel some of the blame should definitely go to the board for this.
But saying that, I genuinely believe that he's losing his mind, so unless he ends up in a mental hospital by January I say stick with him. Or just bandwagon to Roma for the season

Thanks for the summary. Most Spurs fans seem to be indulging in schadenfreude at the moment with Chelsea and Mourinho's current predicament, but to be honest I don't mind you lot anywhere near as much as I do Arsenal and West Ham. Then again, it's probably because of Chelsea's miracle in Munich in 2012.
Personally, I am rooting for Mourinho's sacking and for Brendo to get the job just because it would be the funniest thing in football history. Simple as. Brendo frauding his way into an even better job would be unreal. Will never happen though, I suppose. I don't see anyone doing much of a better job than Mourinho though. Simeone? Ancelotti (again)? No idea.

Never forget
My God, I might have to revoke my Premier League fandom if Brendo ever comes back to Chelsea. That guy is such a fraud, can't believe the amount of nonsense he got away with because of that Suarez-Sturridge season. Don't do this to me Baph.
I agree, like I said in my previous post, I don't think anybody can do much better than Jose going forward, this club has invested too much into Jose; from the staff, to the academy, every little detail has at least some of Jose's DNA in it (tee-hee) so getting rid of him would not only be a disaster for the club because it would mean a restructuring from top to bottom and quite frankly that's the last thing we need if we're going to salvage this season.
