If they stay healthy Clippers should advance. First round is not the time for another miserable playoffs choke for Doc and his band yet this year.
I would much more prefer to see them flopping away series from their hands against this Warriors team.

Jazz in 7 games. Utah likes the half court game and it suits them better than the clippers. I also feel like its going to be close games as these teams grind it out. And their x-factor players that no one will talk about george hill and iso joe johnson will hit clutch shots in close games to steal this series IMO

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Jazz win in 7. Yes, I know we've dominated Utah in the regular season in the Blake/Paul era. The same used to be true of the Rockets until Games 5-7 happened, and it used to be true of the Warriors until they hired Kerr.

The playoffs are a different beast, and in a 7-game series, we're going to have to overcome the severe disadvantages we have in coaching, depth, team defense and production from the wings. Should be a good and competitive series nonetheless. Good luck, Jazz fans, and may the best team win.

On a side note - this is one of the very few playoff series we've had in the Blake/Paul era where I don't despise our opponent. The Blazers and Spurs are the only other opponents we've faced that have been like that. Definitely makes for a more relaxed viewing experience.

Clips got our number. I cant see us beating them in the series.
The only win we had against them was when we had lights out 3 pt shooting.

Clips in 6, as much as I like the Jazz and want them to win.

They are going to struggle to score enough points.

The key to the series for the Jazz would be George Hill. Without great d on Paul and a solid scoring contribution, I don't see the Jazz having enough experience when it counts.

Really bad matchup for the Jazz. Clips defense gives them troubles.

surprised how close this is, all of you picking the Jazz (like it) think about that:
How absymal would it be for the Clippers to lose a first round series with 3 all stars, one of the all time great PGs and a coach who already won a ring against an inexperienced playoff team like the Jazz. NBA nation would be shocked with a loss or am I overplaying this?

on the other hand, the Jazz are some kind of sleeper with their potential hardcore defense, a dominating Gobert and their streak shooting. when they click, every team in the league has trouble.

This should be a competitive series. I say Clips in 6 or 7. Would not be surprised if the Jazz won but I give the Clips the slight edge.

I don't like either of these teams but I think I am more down on Utah. For the last 3 or 4 years the media said they were going to make playoffs and they finally did but I dont see the draw. LA is always going to contend but never does.

I take LA in 6.

Clippers are difficult to predict. And so are the Jazz to a lesser extent. I wouldn't be surprised at any outcome except sweeps for either team. I could see a long series, 6 games either way, or even 5 games either way. Based on the poll, seems like most people agree with that. This could be the best series of the 1st round.
