I think there is a more likely answer
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Raymond felton is trying hero ball now. This team is awesome in the literal sense.

Making dunks look like step back twos.

We should double team MCW for... Reasons.

This team needs Dion Waiters. That would complete the starting lineup.

I'm not watching but what the hell?

We get Paul George back and we're getting blown out at home by the well-below-.500 Hornets?

I hate this team.

At least Westbrook is attacking the rim, which doesn't matter because we suck

We make bad teams look so competent.

Not sure how. All of those players are now playing on worse teams than the OKC was last year, so naturally they would get bigger roles.

Bad teams do have a tendency to do that for other bad teams.

Pathetic showing for the 3rd straight game

1-10 on the road before tonight for the Hornets

Coincidence Roberson isn't playing and our 3pt defense is non-existant?

Kanter is taking less shots then last year, but he's shooting almost 60%. McDermott is shooting over 40% from 3 this year and I'm just going to assume it is better looks in a better offensive scheme. Taj shot terrible, compared to his career, last year with OKC so him returning to his normal 52% was expected, but the career high is explained by him shooting 84% at the rim which probably doesn't hold up all year. Dipo has just been insane this year. Sabonis is all about shot selection. Sabonis isn't jacking up 1/3 of his shots from 3 and instead is taking over 40% of his shots at the rim so his percentage has increased drastically.

Lamb is a good player though. He's averaging 15/5/3. For us collectively as a fan base we want him starting over Batum who has a max contract. OKC old coaching staff dropped the ball on Lamb and I was saying it the whole time he was there and I got a lot of flak for it. So glad he got out of there

Kinda hard when you have no development and get sent and back and fourth to Tulsa 3 times a week no? OKC was to worried about winning to develop young guys back then. They knew they had a window. To this day I still feel bad for rookies thay get drafted to OKC. They will never reach anything close to full potential as long as russell is there. Brooks being fired was a step in the right direction at least. Brooks had the irrational expectations for young guys to be more consistent without consistent playing time and I think the lack of development in younger players really hurt the organization as a whole. You guys let Lamb walk for nothing.
