Oh and maybe his height and weight too to see if he is another undersized athletic longboi or not

I believe he is 6'7.5", 220lbs with 6'10" wingspan... Seems like he may have found his herd...

It'll be nice for him to start with AG/Vooch in the frontcourt... So far, he's been solid.

He seems pretty small to play the PF Iwundu probably has better measurements than him

As a random bench pickup he's been decent so far. Isn't really standing out, but also doesn't feel like he's hurting us. Even though he's kind of small he seems to get his fingertips on a lot of balls even if he doesn't come up with them. Three ball looks ok. Defense also seems ok. Maybe he can fill the role of Aminu better than Aminu could...

He is small but sturdy. Similar to Tucker. I dont like his fluidity on offense but he seems like a smart defensive player. He is a nice option on a minimum deal.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

In 4 games, Clark has averaged 5 points and 4.5 rebounds a game in 13.5 minutes played per.

As on 25 January, the Magic must make a contract decision on Clark, for me the decision is not whether to resign him, but rather, should the Magic guarantee his deal for the rest of the season over a second 10-day deal.

I say yes. He is showing very competent rotational play. And as he learns the system, he should only get better with the team-aspects of this organisation.

His stats are almost better than our #6 pick' stats :o

That is certain. The real question is what happens on 2 February when the Magic either need to outright sign him or let him walk. In this the 6 February trade deadline is a real issue.

Will Orlando let Clark walk "knowing" a forward trade is coming?
But would the team take a risk on losing Clark to another team in that 4-day window?

I think Clark does get signed for the rest of the season. Then we will see what the Magic can make out of Aminu's DPE. Jefferson or Frazier might get waived in all of this.

Interesting, given Aminu's DPE got approved during the 10 days. I'd have thought for sure we'd have given him another 10 day to see us until the deadline at least.

Looking at it deeper Magic have 4 days off from 1/27 to 2/1 so giving him a 2nd 10 day when 4 of those days are somewhat useless. This also doesn't mean once deadline is over he won't be given a 2nd 10 day or even a minimum to finish the year out if Magic don't make any moves.

The trade-window closes on Feb 6. If the Magic put Clark on another 10 day-er "today" there would be a 4-day gap in using the trade market to resolve the forward depth chart.

So: I expect another 10-day deal for Clark to be inked on 27 January. This maximises decision processes for Management.

The risk is that in the next 2-days, another team signs Clark. I guess that risk is seen as low.

Not far off with your prediction! Hopefully Clark provides some more decent minutes backing up the 4 spot and we can see less of Khem there.

The "big" Orlando Magic front office move.

LOL. Weltman and Hammond have the easiest professional front office job.

"Continue evaluating and do nothing".
Orlando Magic are BACK!!!

Return to Orlando Magic
