Didn't Richard Jefferson have a similar story? When you have options and can sleep with all your girlfriend's friends some are going to take advantage of it.

You are

Your man :banghead: has kids to 5 different woman and paid millions in child support.

We are not talking about his 5 kids with different women, we are talking about this specific situation, stay on topic. The women was clearly out for his money and I rather pay child support than to pay child support AND alimony. I stated above, that every state has different state laws. In some states, after 5 years of marriage or so, the women will be paid alot more after a divorce. Some of you guys will learn the hard way. "They're angels" yea ok keep believing them.

He was 24 and it was his third season. Why did you have to make me go to basketball reference?

Don't know what's true or false in thier history. But for her side of the story she added things to the prenup and I guess they couldn't agree on it up to the last minute.

She added an expected a monthly allowance with no determined amount yet, a home in her name only and no further children with him in the addendum.

We're not in thier shoes, but not calling it off sooner seems crazy.

Later, Showalter posted the actual document with witness signatures, and both hers and Stephen’s. She noted that she added an addendum to the document including:

I will need monthly allowance to be determined at a later date.
A home purchased in my name to be my sole property
No more children
No infidelity on either party
Obtain representation at a later date…

While Showalter initialed next to all of the addendums, Stephen’s signature is absent.

Decent basketball distraction from the usual threads for a minute but ready to move on past this one lol.

Why bother for him at that point? It’s like a document that she can leave anytime she wants and be covered. There would be no reason for her to stay at all once he signed off on that. The tricky part is the monthly allowance determined at a later date. When would that date be, after the wedding?

As other have stated child support and no alimony beats child support and alimony every day, She had just tried to pull a fast one on him and her freinds wanted to sooth him. Who is he to say no. He owes his ex nothing at that point? She had shown her cards and was more interested in his money than making a life with with. So all bets are off.

It is easy to put of signing a prenup especially when you are planning a big wedding, very very easy to do. And Jackson's spider senses were probably tingling like crazy when she made an addendum to the prenup. It probably became a game of chicken. I love you but you are going to sign the original prenup (Jackson), I love you too but you are going to sign the amended prenup (ex):

Either way she wanted a bigger slice of the cake than she was being offered. Jackson has probably made mistakes after this event, but not marrying her is not one of them.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Would you rather a knuckle sandwich OR

Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson tell the story of the 2006 Pacers team that was involved in a shootout outside of a strip club. Stephen Jackson hit by a car and had his teeth knocked out.

Coxy wrote:Jackson is entertaining, but sounds like a complete train wreck of a relationship guy. I mean, who gets to the wedding day in that state? That’s not real love, absolutely ridiculous. The guy is a classic example of a man that never grew out of his young fck boy ways, just remained immature and is now crowing about it likes it’s normal. Basically, he’s an idiot. I’m embarrassed for him.

I guess you are the cuck that either didn't sign a prenup or had no reason to sign since she had more money than u. Read the damn article. She was 100% out for his money ONLY yet you are blaming him for calling it off!?

Strike, personal attack. Don't call people cucks.

He was drafted in the second of the 1997 Draft by the Suns, but did not make his NBA debut until opening night of the 2000-01 season with the New Jersey Nets. Before signing with the Nets as a free agent in October of that year, Jackson played professionally in the Continental Basketball Association, with the La Crosse Bobcats as well as making stops in Australia, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.

This is one of the most pathetic comments I've ever read. The fact that it only has 2 likes and one of them is by a person named flat earth, it doesn't make you look good. You sound a like a simp.

I actually meant to quote somebody else. My bad. I was going to delete the comment but I'm not sure how.

This is the pathetic comment I was referring to.
