He probably doesn't sign with us anyways, but not even going after FVV in the offseason was a big mistake

We'd be so much better with him at PG than Payton.

another big thing is everybody off the bench was ghastly. they gave us nothing. they usually make up for some of the starters not scoring. they couldn't score or defend.

Watching Payton chuck line drive 3s brings me tremendous pain. Guy is a certified scrub all around.

We desperately need Burks and Frank to spread the floor and fill out the rotation.

I am looking forward to Obi coming back but I think a lot of you need to temper your expectations from him. Extremely unlikely he's going to save our offense as some are alluding to in the GT.

Obi needs to be fed and he needs spacing.

He won't get that here.

RJ needs spacing. Elfrid needs spacing. Randle needs spacing. Mitch needs spacing. Obi needs spacing. Yet none of them provides spacing at the NBA level, which means they won't succeed together.

I see one guy who's not even worth the trouble. He's the gift that keeps on giving.

There was a lot of bad in this game. This was the first game where I really question the coaching. Why was the whole team driving into traffic over and over. Quick looked like a 2nd round pic. The 2nd half rotations were whack AF. No defense in the 2nd and Thibs let them go to the rim at will. This was ugly all the way around.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

This hurts a lot worse than losing to a playoff-bound team.

Got outhustled and didn't bring it on either end..

Not really, the major flaws of this team that we knew existed that have been covered up recently with some excellent defense and timely hoops was exposed tonight, which we all know is the lack of shooting and zero point guard play..and on top of it which will drive thibs nuts, which was OKC wanted it more and out worked the Knicks

3 assists and I don't think one was a legit assists...and 36 shots....if your shot isn't falling move the ball and they didn't.

they were getting easy buckets and second chance points with Mitch on the bench.

i'm sure mitch's agent is yelling "show me the money" at leon right now.

Elf being Elf, Randle having an off-game and Rivers coming back down to planet earth are all whatever to me. But another absolute trash game from RJ, all of his shots looked bad - even the ones that went in, and Quickley looking like a G-Leaguer hurt me a little bit.

Not giving up on either but RJ especially has been really frustrating to watch, nothing about his game seems to have improved with the exception of his FT's being slightly better. That doesn't compensate for how miserable he's been from beyond the arc this season though.

Even with all that...not playing mitch in the 4th qtr was egregious.

Underrated post.

Pelicans still suck ... Ingram had a terrible game and they blew a big lead to the Hornets ... Zion got the ball late twice and had sort of lame turnarounds.

Basketball commiseration is what I'm doing here.

just an ugly game from everyone, although Mitch was decent. I like RJ but he just hasn't show those flashes of being the type of player you build around yet

With the way thibs is using Randle we’ll be a bottom five team by the trade deadline.

No way Randle lasts with the amount of minutes plus how much we rely on him.

Mitch being out for so long and Payton/RJ shooting bricks is why we lost

Only thing that would make me happy to sleep tonight is the Bricklyn Nets losing to a Morant-less Grizzlies.
