Does Harden play another game with Houston or do they just tell him to stay home until they get a deal? If I’m the Rockets, that’s what I would do. He’s become absolutely toxic for them where it would be addition by subtraction just to not have him on the court.

He’s tanking his value with this crap and letting his conditioning go as much as he is.

They would take a package of Fred VanVleet, Norman Powell Aron Baynes and our 1st before they take that deal.

C'mon now. He's a top 5 player in the league when engaged and can singlehandedly get a team in the playoffs, those type of players aren't available very often. 31 isn't very old and you have him locked up for his prime

How soon people forget he averaged 40-12-6 on 60 odd percent shooting without wall and had a 44-17 game when he was engaged. Wall comes back the dumb rookie coach wants harden off the ball

LOL I wish I was held hostage and paid 41 million. His job is to put the ball in the hoop, not some secret agent lol. Seriously, he's having an epic tantrum cause he can't play with his buddies. lol

Wall is looking like a scrub after a hot start. Off course he would like Silas, the dumbass rookie coach has pretty much made him the lead guy. Which is laughable in so many ways

TBF to Wall, I think that he's partly looking like a scrub because James isn't buying in. With that being said, sometimes you can play off of adrenaline when you get back and do well but once that wears off then the reality of 2 years off really hits you. Couple that with James not believing in him is making Wall get down.

So far I noticed that Wall has struggled as a Passer when he's normally one of the best in the league. That tells me there are rust and chemistry issues. You can't blame Silas. James missed camp and showed up fat when their whole season hinged on the chemistry of him and Wall. Also I'm pretty sure that Silas has heard on the inside that James is gone no matter what so why waste time catering the system to him when Wall will probably be the lead point shortly

Worst of all, they're even paying him over 30 million dollars a year for a contract he willingly signed. Rockets FO are scum.

You're right, market will probably be limited to teams that want absurdly dominant all-time great offensive players.

I might get flamed for this but honestly, I don't care...

Anyone who thinks Houston is holding James Harden "hostage" is a clown. The dude signed a max contract, has been catered to hand and foot in Houston, is playing in a league where stars get paid very well, and has a guaranteed contract. I completely understand athletes play by different rules than you or I, but he is in by no means being held "hostage". Hostage (in regards to sports) is when you're still on your rookie NFL deal making 900k when you're a top player at your position and a team refuses to renegotiate, hostage is when an MLB overseas player from Cuba signs a deal to get out of his situation and a team (again) refuses to renegotiate even though he's at the top of his class, hostage is what Igoudala tried to do to the Memphis Grizzlies.

I am very pro-player but come on, man... Ya'll are crazy if you think James Harden is being held "hostage"...

I dont know what they can get for him anymore

-Brooklyn is out w/ Dinwiddie injury
-Philly doesn't seem like it wants to trade Simmons
-Boston doesn't want to trade Brown

Maybe Denver or Portland?

The last two I actually think have a better shot. Philly not parting with Ben and I don’t believe Boston wants to part with Brown either(they shouldn’t, brown has been balling and is still on the uprise)

Both blazers and Nuggets been having their struggles and maybe need that one star like harden to get over the hump.
