Deadline is going to be interesting. Clippers will have a tough time with the hard cap, but hopefully they can find something to bolster the balance of the roster

Lou's trade value is going in the right direction.

Exactly. Lou is playing better but it’s clear as day that it’s not reflecting to Kennard. Morris and Zu are a bit of a work in progress with the fit but we don’t have the depth to not play Kennard and just bench him

Nice to see the team buckle down and take over the game in the 3rd. Lou was a beast, and I liked Mann's energy and hustle. I didn't really like some of Kawhi's shot selection, but the guy is just that good, so I'll give him a pass, lol. Kennard was just bad... Should've just gave his minutes to Coffey or something, smh...

Wow good **** Lou. Hopefully he can keep this up. Perhaps Kennard is the one that needs to go? This team loves to keep things interesting that's for sure.

I'm glad Lue has a short leash on Kennard because if he's not gonna be aggressive with his shot, with his terrible defense him not scoring or looking to score renders him absolutely useless

Yea, I just don't know how plentiful the options will be, the margin for matching contracts is very small for the Clippers, I'm curious to see if they can find workable options, but I'm not sure I would have much expectation due to the situation.

I'm not going to suggest that Kennard definitely needs to stay, he doesn't, the only thing is that Kennard is 24 years old while Lou is 34 years old and the oldest player on the roster.

We talk about the need for youth, and Kennard (24), Mann (24) and Zubac (23) ARE the young guys on the team who are in the lineup. The fellow Dukie (Redick) who the Clippers had previously didn't really establish himself until he was around 25-26 years old, Kennard needs to take pointers from him.

The 2nd thing is that there's nothing new to expect from Lou. In general he struggles in the post-season, it's happened on multiple teams (PHI, ATL, TOR, HOU, LAC) all 5 teams he's consistently had issues with shooting, efficiency and impact in the post-season. This is not changing, and certainly not at 34 years old, so any good he does during the regular season, we happily take it, but we know that he's not a player that a team should be relying on in their top 8-9 during the post-season.

Kennard's pre-mature extension actually also makes him more difficult to trade, so the early extension is additionally looking worse due to that. He would be easier to trade as an expiring RFA since it puts the team getting him in the drivers seat of whether they want to keep him or not, and for how much.

I'm commending you for giving the guy props when for some others it's like he can't do any right, no matter what. Just poking fun at the extra Jackson hate by some which is so weird to me. The guy makes mistakes here and there, but he hits his three's, he's averaging a great 0.9 tpg in 19 mins (career low rate), and he's passable on defense. Why are people mad at a minimum player who is earning his minimum contract because he's isn't great?

I wonder the same thing because technically he's not supposed to be playing that much this season at all. Him playing in games tells you the state of the Pat Bev, Lou Will, Kennard backcourt that has been hit or miss this season

Mrs. TVD said, how do Lou and Bev even go out there with people hating on them and the team ready to dump them?

I said, they go out there and shove it up their ass. And they did.
