He can make the Lakers hostage. Next season, the Lakers will be over the cap space with or without him.

If he walks next season, the Lakers can't pay any replacement more than the MLE.

The Lakers have a tight window with LeBron and have money to pay luxury taxes...

His numbers are going to be low if Lebron is on his squad and he’s the third. What’s worrying is his lack of efficiency. He probably ain’t gonna be more efficient without Lebron. He should take the cash.

My Nuggets-Nets finals prediction before the season started is looking good right now. Gordon looks like a seamless fit up in Denver. Jokic is going to make him look great.

They have a really strong starting 5.

And MPJ is playing out of his mind in the month of March he might finish the month 60% from the field 50% from 3 and 20 pts and 9 boards a game.

As then they are the same player. Obi’s per36 numbers are basically the same as Rui. Right now they are both poor defenders, below average 3PT shooters who only can play PF. Obi hasn’t got much burn and is a better athlete/finisher, so we will see if he improves but I’d give up nothing of value for Rui
