Trust me, you'll be as surprised as Thibs having Grimie in, at the end of the game Friday.

So, Grimes I see playing. He's not McBride.
McBride going to suffer from Thibs aversion to young PG's.

Again, I'd rather see McBride play, but the Knicks didn't extend the organizational depth of PG with Knight for no reason. Knight is basically the Rivers' signing, but he's in the G-League.

Thibs ain't Coach of the Year for nothin.
If you can play defense at an high level and affect the offense you'll play. To me and in practice, Duece is going to regularly own Brandon Knight at this point in his career and every assistant will be on the same page.

McBride is gooing to challenge him every practice to stay close to the rotation and will make sure Brandon won't be able to even dribble the ball. haha

To me Brandon as a old Wildcat, is being done right by the team. He's going to get some much needed cash, Im sure, but: IQ, Grimes, Rose, Evan, Kemba and McBride all have weapons that Brandon no longer possess. Maybe he'll go straight to the G or be our next Theo IMO.

I'm with Melo, I think Grimes will eventually find some playing time. Burks has been pretty injury prone throughout his career and Fouriner will probably miss sometime as well. I could also see Grimes get some situational opportunities that Frank had last year. Will we see him a lot? Probably not but he's going to get more opportunities than McBride cuz I don't think we'll see Deuce at all. Way too many road blocks for him to get playing time.
