Mavs have done a terrible job building around Luka. I understand the swing they took with Porzingis but he has clearly not worked out.

Yeah, hard disagree here, I saw Luka won everything in Europe and accomplish some things a lot of all time Euro greats never could. Put prime Mike Jordan's, and make his best teammate in 2021 NBA - Jalen Brunson, he wouldn't look like a winner either. Luka has all time great winner IQ and mentality. Person who said Luka cares about stats more than winning gotta be *** me, probably the only star who will shoot every full court heave at the end of every Q, so asinine haters would crap on his 3PT%, and these people have guts to tell he cares about stats more.

Not even close, homer pick, Tatum is the real ball hog, overrated on defense and not good enough as a first option. He is great, and I think he could be the second best player of a title team, but he is not on the same level of Luka, Trae and Ja Morant is on pace to pass him too. Also, as the homer I am, Bam is obviously ahead of him too (:

Luka obliterated Magics stats though. He had a statiscally better season at 19 too.

He also didn't play his rookie year with two hall of famers in Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Wilkes.

Definitely dont disagree though.

To be completely honest with maybe the exception of Morant they all have been overhyped. Not saying they are bad players but they all have been crowned too early.

He is better than all of them but I don't understand why the question is if he is better than these 4 in particular?

I mean Luka is an MVP caliber player, the only one that comes close to that is probably Young.

Doncic will always get slack all because he literally has to the shoulder the load. The only player on the Mavericks that would get real minutes on another team is Hardaway and we are probably talking 6th man minutes that are fairly limited.

Doncic’s career almost looks like it will mirror Dirks if he stays. Never getting a real second star. I hope I’m wrong though, I spent 20 years hoping Dirk could get a Paul Pierce or a T-Mac.

But to be clear I love Young, Tatum, and Morant, but they aren’t on the same tier as Doncic. Doncic can do a lot more with the talent they have around them. We just actually need to see Doncic play with some talent as we have no idea what that looks like yet.

If had to start my own team I will still go with Luka.

After that Morant and Young in that other but this guys are awful on defense especially Young.

Tatum is my top 15 but I'm not confident he can carry a team by himself.

And Booker is super overrated and more of a elite number 2 guy rather than a true franchise player.
