It's not bad, but nothing too ground-breaking. I will say this though, I probably haven't heard it enough to get a good read on it. I prefer Smith and Jones, if I had to choose.

I clicked on a link on a Sportsnet article about the Raps, and they had a video link with Will Lou and Blake Murphy. Couldn't tell if it was a podcast or the radio show with Blake filling in. Good discussion about the Pacers news. What I liked best was their idea that we should make a playoff push this year then really be in position next year to contend. I think Myles Turner now was the gist of that.

Wish it was morning. Hate hearing about hockey on both 590 and 1050 at the same time

Ya, I thought with the addition of Blake Murphy in the morning there would be a lot more hoops talk, but it's still very hockey focused. Been only listening to Will Lou via podcast. Blake should really just join that show or be given a basketball show of his own. There's already enough Toronto media dissecting Jason Spezza, you're wasting Blake's talents having him do it as well.

His post game show should be called Raptors Roast. He goes all IN and calls them all out individually.

For the casual fan, I wonder if this 42 minute negativr commentary could turn people off the Raps. I mean, they lose a lot. So with that comes the LOU will criticism.

Anyhow. I'm die-hard Raps but even I'll admit: after listening to Lou after a loss, I'm not really running home to put the game on.

He’s the only guy who says it like it is. Everyone else tries to put a positive spin on everything and the audience can tell when they’re being bull sh*tted.

Yeah without question. Just made the comment considering who his employer is.

I thought... Man if I owned the Raps and had to listen to someone on my payroll trash them, I'd be upset. But at the same time, he speaks from the heart. He's being honest.

Ya I'm really surprised how open and candid he's allowed to be but I absolutely love it. He says exactly how most fans feel and listening to his show becomes therapeutic from a Raptors perspective lol.

Loving the show. My favourite Will Lou podcasts were the ones with Alex so this is a major win.

He only criticizes the players. Ownership and maybe Masai is what are off limits, bob mcowan has been the only media member to hold Rogers accountable.

These guys will spend half a show highlighting Watanabe’s strengths but will throw Boucher out with the bath water. Neither of them played at a high level or at all if I had to guess so them calling out the raptors is par for the course with journalists. I’d like more analysis they spend too much time covering non basketball topics.

In regards to the poll, I voted Yes. But I must say, I enjoyed listening/watching Will Lou much more when he was with Yahoo. I like Alex Wong but I get tired of their banter, and Yahoo just provided a lot more media personalities for Will to interact with.

Seriously, people saying these guys are funny...I have serious reservations about their mental capacity. These guys are dry as toast and their content isn't anything spectacular. No entertainment value whatsoever

I agree that they are not funny at all. But the content is pretty good. Just the basketball content. Any personal stuff about ramen or poker or anything outside basketball is just lame.

I think they may be having too small a circle of guests, Amy, Savanna, koreen all from the Sportsnet family. Those ladies are good but would be nice to hear from some more authoritative people from the USA. Maybe I've missed some though

This show is good. I dont even mind if they BS about nonbasketball content, maybe because I need a social life. God its better by far than listening to jones and smith. I don't even hate jones and smith though.

The basketball content leaves a lot to be desired. I also laugh when they get overtly critical of pro’s as neither host played at a high level or organized basketball for that matter. That’s why them lacking entertainment value is an issue it’s not like they speak on the nuances of the game aside from play calls. Their content is mediocre stuff I’d expect from amateurs and they need to stop covering yuta for 10 minutes when he has a 5 point game.

I actually think they have some good basketball observations even if they've never played.

Now I will agree it's annoying how obsessed they are with Yuta. They need to get over the whole Asian thing if they want to have a good show on a mainstream network.
