I get it if we lose. Were not good at all without the Big 3.
But why is it never close?
To me this is a combination of horrible coaching (you see so many teams play hungry short handed, we roll over and die) and the team probably super deflated with the idiotic mandate stuff lifted where kyrie can come to the arena and sit on the bench but not play.
He just willed them to a win over the reigning champs and then its like "he's back... oh wait psyche not really".
But really bad look for the assistant coaches. this is a team ahead of us by 1 game and we had the tiebreaker. a win and we are the 7 seed. They were missing their 2 best players. They were 1-4 with 4 embarassing losses coming in. we were at home.
Maybe we still lose, hard to win with none of the big 3. but to lose by 40 and get embarrassed like that... your team didnt show up, played with no passion, and no hunger and you did nothing to help them.
Vandrpool, keefe, harrington, vaughn should all submit their resignations last night. they clearly are scouting well, arent gameplaning well, arent helping nash with stuff in game like challenges. they all need to resign. that was so bad it actually made me feel bad for nash. sure he is super incompetant and not qualified, but marks gave him no support with dantoni gone either.
most unacceptable loss of the KD era. not the loss, but how it was a blowout from start to finish
