LeBron loses because he faces lucky better teams, and plays a super ball heavy statistic heavy style of play where there's one best in the world, and 2 all stars in role playing roles. Unless he has the pieces, there's a ceiling to LeBron ball.

Lebron's strength inside usually come from attacking, but I always felt a legitimate post game and mid range was needed to make LeBron ball more portable.

He's got the post game and mid range. Every major playoff run, there's been times where he has had to turn to it when nothing else is working. Lebron on the right block leads to an open shot for someone almost every single time.

The thing is, for whatever reason, he only pulls it out in "break in case of emergency," type of situations. Not sure if it's because of the wear on his body constantly fighting for post position would invite, or what, but it's there.

Also, the mid range game comes and goes for him, but when it's cooking he can't be defended. Again, it's one of those things I only really see from him in the postseason, but he's definitely got it in his bag.

Of course, he's no Durant in that regard, but he's also 4 times the playmaker KD is, so..

Generally, speaking however, you're right. Lebron ball comes with a lot of requirements to be successful, but when the pieces are in place it's a system that can win Championships.

Creating 3 point shots after drive is something everyone can do in the NBA. However making easy buckets for your teammates (layups) is something that has never been as huge for LeBron as other elite playmakers of the last decade like Paul and Westbrook.
Sure LeBron is a great playmaker, but he was never great adapting his style to support teams which aren't ideal for his usual drive and kick style. It's perfectly showcased this year.

That's not true at all. Lebron has adjusted to the league as it has changed. Go back and look at his first run with Cleveland: a majority of his assists were for easy 2's. The numbers back this up.

What's laughable is that you think Westbrook has been anything other than a drive and kick playmaker.
