LAtvia comfortably beat Serbia. Slovenia with Luka is blowing out Croatia right now. Another nightmare Croatian window even with A listers.

Our team sucks hard right now, because Jokic, Micic, Bogdanovic and a few other guys are all out.
And Boban should really not be on the team, end that clown show already.

I feel we Lithuanians will take a huge L tomorrow too, we have been great during those windows, but something about new coach I dont trust at all, and our best player by far on this team is Ignas Brazdeikis... That said, Arnoldas Kulboka, who is technically an NBA player, didnt even make the cut, on a team where half the guys are unknown even to real Basketball fans. Looks like another ''talent'' down the drain.
Germany easily beat Estonia today. Shroeder close to triple double. Finland with Markkanen (22 points 11 rebounds) beat rivals Sweden.

These FIBA windows have to go, it's beyond ridiculous what those **** have done with basketball because of their fights with the Euroleague.

Everyone is cooking Dragan Bender, this guy was ''generational switch defender prospect'', what a scrub.

Vezenkov almost single handedly ruined Lithuanias Friday, but Lithuania wins by 2. Wow, what a good player Vazenkov is, I saw takes that he should have been Euroleague MVP as he carried his F4 team the most, and I thought that was a reach take, but god damn hes good, unstoppable.

And, yeah, Itoudis is indeed a very good coach so that's good too.
The Greek sports system finally replaced him, by, if I remember the details right, putting in a rule that he was too old to stay in charge of the federation. They also finally took away his control of the Greek league's refs. The result was that immediately a normal coach (Itoudis), instead of the recent parade of clown coaches joined the NT, and Olympiacos instantly won the Greek double.
There is absolutely zero chance of that ever happening under the old federation's "leadership". In 100 years, Olympiacos would have not won the Greek double under the previous federation. So yeah, the long nightmare of the federation finally ended.
They put the owner of Promitheas in charge of the federation. He's considered to be one of the best basketball executives in Europe.
Awwwww the typical butthurt olympiacos fan. Cute.
Olympiacos has won 8 of it's total 13 championships under vasilakopoulos regime.
But ofc you don't mention that. Why?
You won the championship in 2017 too, with vasilakopoulos. And 2012. And 5 straight from 1993-1997. All under vasilakopoulos. But ofc you won't mention that.
Panathinaikos had won its 13th championship back in....1973(lol). 49 years before you. And many years before vasilakopoulos became a president.
Panathinaikos has 40 championships, you have 13.
We have 20 domestic cups, 6 EuroLeagues.
What do you have?
Alvertis alone has more titles than olympiacos as a whole. lol
We're not in the same tier with you. Like it or not. Never have been, never will be.
The greatest player in your history became great in panathinaikos (Spanoulis). Then he came to you. You didn't made him. He won the triple crown here. Not with you.
Galis, Giannakis, Christodoulou, Alvertis, Diamantidis, Fotsis, Spanoulis, Tsartsaris, Calathes, Dominique, Byron Scott, Radja, Rebraca, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Siskauskas, Batiste, Katash, Koch, Obradovic, Itoudis just to name some. You know. Legends.
What did you have in your history?
You won a championship and you come here on an American forum to post your insecurities?
You won it too in 2012, in 2017. With vasilakopoulos.
What happened afterwards?
The same that will happen now.
Giannakopoulos has just returned. You know what will happen. But hey, you won one championship. Congrats.
I've seen you again attack my team over and over again on the international forum. I chose not to reply.
Because i don't like to derail threads like you.
Not anymore. Take your stupid takes and insecurities on a greek forum.
This is about eurobasket. This isn't about Mirotic12 complexes.

Giannis is amazing, don't get me wrong, but in FIBA competitions he can be slowed down. The major difference in the ruleset affects him quite a lot. His playstyle is a perfect fit for the NBA but it can be countered in FIBA competitions.
Do his brothers bring anything positive to the equation for Greece in fiba that they don’t in nba? I ask because you would think just having that many nba players on Greece would give them an advantage—— but of course I don’t know as well as you guys do

Love this thread - euro games are generally more entertaining than the nba summer league. Is there a app or site or service that does the best with posting or having the games ?

Thanasis is just NBA player technically, but he is not better at all than most players Greece can pull up from top Euro teams. Greece has Giannis and this is where real NBA talent for them ends I think, or do I forget something. Kostas I think is better than Thanasis right now, but none of Giannis brothers are impact players for Greece in my opinion.

I use term overrated, so I am guilty, but when you think about it, calling something or someone overrated is stupid, cause you basically saying that people enjoy you more than they suppose to. Like wow, what a diss...

Croatia has no excuse to be this bad. -9 at the half against Finland
Germany beat Poland, Shroeder with crazy 38 point line
Slovenia 84-81 Sweden. That was somehow close. Luka 31 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists

The ultimate compliment is calling a good player over rated… especially when they are cooking -
It’s something else when someone is supposed be good and stinking up the gym.

Doncic seems to have a good dry humor so you know he would laugh at that. He´s not someone that takes everything seriously. That ´s why he is so annoying for opponents. He just kills you with a big smile on his face.^^
Schroder is a really good player on Fiba competitions. You can hide his limitations on Defense and his speed kills defenses. Germany could be a hell of a team in the Eurobasket.
