Settled for way too many 3s in the 4th. Utah on the other hand, got a bunch of points in the paint and from the foul line.

Re: GAME #10: JAZZ @ CLIPPERS—SUNDAY 11/6 7PM
usually i'd be quick to say you take all the open 3's you can get
but it seemed pretty clear pg's shot went sour, and meanwhile mann/zubac were as close to unstoppable as you could get for role players.

Both the refs and Lue decided we weren't winning this one, not that it matters since we're nowhere near good enough to beat any team with a pulse. The Cavs are going to destroy us tomorrow.

Is Lou coaching?? Even a blind person could see that we have been super successful attacking the basket and sucking at making 3s and yet, we continue to shoot them.

Atkinson was the real coach and we clearly miss him.

Zubac is so consistently good this year. He should get more play calls. That Jazz team looks young and fast and definitely well coached. No slight against Lue either.
But our 2nd unit is really not getting it done. Except for Wall. Batum is no where near what he was doing last season.
Let’s get Boston, Coffee & Brown in there huh?

They ran out of gas and couldn't make a 3 down the stretch.
The refs also killed the momentum of their run by calling 3 fouls on the same possession.
I'm officially concerned about Powell. They need his scoring with Kawhi out, but he mostly looks lost. Lue needs to establish a role for him.

Re: GAME #10: JAZZ @ CLIPPERS—SUNDAY 11/6 7PM
Clippers 43 FG Jazz 35
Points in the paint Clippers 60 Jazz 34
Turnovers Clippers 14 Jazz 21
FT Clippers 8-13 Jazz 25-26
Even with Utah hitting 15 threes, Clippers outplayed them and they only won from atrocious calls in their favor. Game was a joke. And like previously stated, those bs 3 calls a row eliminated any aggressive the Clippers played with on defense. Trash refs. Lue should take a fine

Refs were horrible but they are not the reason MMSr missed a bunch of wide open 3s, John Wall missing all 4 of his foul shots. PG took a lot of tired 3s in the 4th, but I am not gonna complain about him, he carried the team in the 1st half.
Tough b2b tomorrow night, don't think John Wall will play. Powell and Reggie need to step up big time.

God save us if things comes to that. We are dead last by 102.3 ppg with 10 games on the belt. Second last is Detroit with 107.3 then Lakers with 107.6, Rockets 108, Heat 108.1
We did score 5 less ppg from 2nd to worst team in offense and marginally worst of the worst group of teams. Stop playing Reggie, stop playing Batum and Powell. Its Mann, Coffey and B.Boston time for the next 10 games.

Can't blame Big Government tonight. After R-Jax [+3] went out we were fkd. I love me some J-Wall bigtime but 6-15 and minus-11 can't be glossed over. He's just not ready to be the #1.
Powell minus-13. AGAIN? And Senior a team-worst minus-19?

Plus/minus isn't everything but when you lose a game by 8, you score 18 and you were still minus-19, questions should be asked.

All true. But Ty is betting his proven veterans will come around rather than betting on maybe-never-will-bes. Hey, it's only 10 games, too soon to become the Pelicans.

Seriously?
You cant run a play for him. He has no offensive moves. Its all easy stuff from handoffs.

Lue doesnt have an offense. And Paul George went hero ball and didnt make one pass in the last 3 minutes. He missed like 4 3 pointers in a row and got abused defensively on 4 straight possessions.

Re: GAME #10: JAZZ @ CLIPPERS—SUNDAY 11/6 7PM
I’m no expert but looking at the numbers , like others have said here , Clippers were beating Jazz in the paint.
Zubac was having his way in the paint , although it was not always pretty - he was making buckets.
The last 5 minutes of the game was were the Clippers lost this game. With all those three’s that were jacked up.
Refs killed their moment right before the last 5 minutes with bogus calls.
On to the Cabs tonight !

This is the theme for entire Kawhi&PG tenure. I put this on the coaching.

Re: GAME #10: JAZZ @ CLIPPERS—SUNDAY 11/6 7PM
I agree with a lot of the observations and criticisms here, but it seems clear our team is gonna live or die on 2 things- getting Kawhi back healthy, and the 3-ball.
We’re too old and our other skill sets aren’t good enough without those 2 things, no matter what we do.
Since last year we added Norm, RoCo, Wall, all great mostly older complementary pieces that add depth but don’t change the identity of the team.
We’re 10 toes in here, as with our older roster we don’t have a choice anyway. I’m still crossing my fingers for Kawhi.
