Oh that KAT injury is heart-wrenching. Hope its not something massive. Dammit.

Right Calf strain. Certainly going to miss time but that could have been way worse.

Let's hope it's only that and not a bad tear.

I know it's early but typically the early tweets would say something along the lines of "The Timberwolves fear Karl-Anthony Towns suffered an achilles injury."

4qtr 8:57 - Where is everyone supposed to be on defense? Ant and Nowell was guarding no one. Could be Gobert's fault but looks like Nowell needs to run back to the corner. Seem very simple stuff as Wizard was just walking the ball up.

This isn't on Finch, it is on an ownership group that ruined the team by forcing a splash move for a player we had no business having interest in. No coach is fixing this, it resolves itself or it will need to be burned to the ground.

Finch is here to stay. He's not going anywhere.

It's one thing to lose a game, but letting teams put 142 and 137 on you in back to back games? That's just weak.

This is terrible all around. I'm really curious what Arod and Lore are thinking. I hate this for us diehard fans who have been living for this team or so long.

One encouraging thing was Josh Minott in garbage time. Stood out and looked like he could potentially be a rotation caliber piece and if he is, he’s exactly what Minnesota needs at the forward spot. A limitless energy pogo stick on defense and on the boards. He shot pretty well in Iowa too (I’m not expect that to translate though).
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Re: Wolves @ Wizards Game Thread!
One of the most awaited seasons is proving to be unwatchable... not to praise myself but I wrote it after a few games that this team lacks energy, soul and basketball intelligence... I'm starting to think that nothing will ever change in our parts. And I'm also starting to think that Finch and the staff have their faults: a team with certain players can't play this horrible basketball on both sides of the court without a soul.
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

This might legitimately be the season that ends my fandom.
Nobody that stepped on that court tonight, aside from maybe Minott, looked like they gave a damn. So why should I?

I knew the long-term result of this trade was going to be just that...the end of my fandom. I was hoping to have a year or two of good basketball, but I kinda had to talk myself into it. When this trade happened it was clearly the wrong direction that would have massive consequences that may carry through to a point I may not longer be alive. I have great distain for what they did, there is no way to pivot, no way out, we are stuck in an operational deficit. I have already adopted OKC, did so directly following the trade to have something to look forward to and watch the build. As far as I am concerned they could move the team (if permitted)... no one is going to support building them and area much less go to games as this unfolds.

Trading Towns is the Pivot. For all his flaws and complete defensive inability. Some team will give up a good to great player and multiple first for him. We have to be willing to do it and move forward. Ultimately, even with the loss of talent, it could be a net positive for our team.

Some sense of realism on this board.
Congratz guys!
Had the chance to build around McDaniels, Edwards and Vanderbilt and passed on it. Not very smart.
