Well we scored 32 in the Q. But we gave up 41.

A big difference is at the arc. We're only 2-7. This output was bettered by our opponents in the 1ST Q. By half, they have 9-23. So we are -21 at the arc. It's a double dose of bitter as we are not doing nearly a good enough job in making right rotations, let alone running out to contest. And we're not doing a good job creating shots from the arc. And we really rely on passing to generate 3s as we rank 1st in 3s from assists. Not one 3 from the starters. Not what we need.

We're getting outrebounded (24-19, 5-3 on O) and outblocked (4-1). AND we're down 36-28 in points in the paint.

We're doing well generating fouls and getting to the FT line, making 14-20. Two of their starters have 3 fouls each - something to exploit in the second half.

Pop's running a mostly seven man rotation, with three Spurs in single digit minutes filling in. Doug leads us with 11, the lone Spur in double digits scoring.

We're just playing too softly, more with finesse than fire. Get physical, get focused on our fundamentals, get moving, contesting, and playing more together.

I mean, we're not playing one of the few teams below us. That's one. I think, too, we are a bit overwhelmed by the moment and it's one of those things where you get overwhelmed by your own energy rather than focusing and channeling it.

That's right, another 40-point Q given up. Another EIGHT 3s given up after giving nine in the first half alone. Brutal Q in terms of points allowed.

We got swallowed whole on both ends this Q. It's now a matter of pride. And right execution on both ends.

Tre's rightly getting some praise as a growing 3-level scorer. So is Keldon in terms of his expanding moves at the rim, and how important his attitued was to the Olympic team.

But we're getting our asses handed to us by cuts, cuts, and cuts some more, and 3s, 3s, and more 3s.

Get physical, stay physical, and let's see some more Malaki and Blake.
