After watching the pros and cons I am still not certain as to the double big lineup that Boston played tonight.

I am curious if other people prefer that lineup or not..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Feed Your Head wrote:The effort level in that game was insane, I hope people realize how hard both teams played. A comparison I used elsewhere, but the entire game felt like a hockey overtime.

Any of Rob, Jaylen, Tatum, Smart, or White could get the VC, easily.

It’s why I went team VC. Excellent all around and any of those you mention would be unlucky not to get the VC.

I went JB CP for his maskless work, it’s been annoying me that he kept wearing the mask and handicapping himself so to see the difference tonight made me happy.

He has better offensive games but I like the timing of some of the shots he made as well as I thought he was locked in on defense the entire game versus not locked in The last one..

All while probably having a stiff lower back and a sprained ankle..

Good win.

VC goes to Brown and Rob. Both had great bounce back games.

Brown was really aggressive like he normally has been all season, unlike game 3. He played really well.

Rob physically looked a lot better. He isn't jumping like Timelord yet, but he was so much more active and was able to move much better than he did in games 2 and 3. Props to the Celtics training staff in getting him better.

Tatum also played really well.

Marcus was really good too.

White was great in the first half.

Brogdon had his moments.

Props to Coach Mazzulla. He got his team ready and they played with a lot more energy and effort.

The need needs to still play a lot better. We were good defensively in the first half and really bad again in the 2nd half, giving up 68 second half points.

Rob was also outstanding, 13 points and 15 rebounds. Smart with a nice scoring game as well.

Weird offensive Tatum game, a little uneven, but had some big points late including the deep three that really salted the game away.

First Brown+Tatum postseason game both with 30+.

Great post. The Jays were immense in 4th quarter: 16 pts for Tatum, 12 pts-100% from 3-2 assts for Brown. Brown took it to the Hawks when the game was decided. Anyone arguing that White or Rob is our second best player…..I like them too……but please just stop it. There is a reason Quinn puts his best defenders on Brown at all times and content to roll the dice with Trae on White. Brown is a beast.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I want it situational but in general I prefer Rob coming off the bench and providing impact there and conserving him and his body as much as possible.

How can there be doubt? Beal used to drive Tatum to practice when they were young, presumably when he was already old enough to drive by Tatum wasn't yet.

SuperDeluxe wrote:That was an unexciting, business-like win for the Celts. There was nothing spectacular except maybe the overall play by Timelord.

Let's finish these guys off on Tuesday. No need to give them (or the Sixers) any hope.

Is this sarcasm or are you heavily stoned hahaha.

Not exciting? I’m one of the more calm sports followers but that game had intensity and energy with key plays throughout.

Beal is actually almost 5 years older.
Just didn't expect Beal to be right there, with Tatum's Family and all.

They grew up together. They've been "Day 1" since Day 1. No surprise there.
