For where the Rockets are at in their rebuild Green is exactly the type of young player they need to keep (a guy with at least a little bit of a chance of being a star).

Jalen Green has only been in the NBA for two seasons. There's a ton of question marks around his efficiency and defense, but I don't know if I'd consider his two seasons to be uninspiring.

I think we have very different ideas on what constitutes a productive player if you think that Green wasn't pretty bad his first two seasons (with somewhat minimal improvement year-to-year).

What a disaster in Houston

From the outside looking in, it's not the thanking that's bothered me. It's the culture that feels very toxic to me. I like how OKC, SA, ORL have "tanked", and it feels very different from what HOU has done to me.

You obviously follow the team much closer than I do, so I could be wrong. But for me, up until the Udoka hiring (which I really like), HOU has definitely felt like a disaster to me. And I really like Sengun and Jabari.
I think a lot of it just comes from association to KPJ. He's the only guy who's deserved any kind of controversial label. There was the wood thing too last season but uhh, that seems to kind of just be who he is. Nothing bad has ever been reported or said about any of the other guys on the team. John Wall said the stuff Jalen gets away with there wouldn't fly on other teams, which, I mean, yeah, they're not trying to win lol the rest of that interview was him beefing with the team for not wanting to give him the role he wanted

I guess that's true. Thoughts on Josh Christopher? I remember that clip of him mocking Silas.

He wasn't mocking Silas lol that was just what rockets Twitter wanted to see because they had been so mad at Silas. The rest of the coaching staff was laughing along with him, it was definitely about something else or just him being goofy in general. The issue with Gup is just that he's not good at basketball :)
If he was mocking Silas John Lucas would've ripped into him not laughed with him

Ehh, I’m going to go against the grain and say Houston should definitely sell high if there’s an opportunity before other teams realize the kind of player Green truly is and his allure/shininess wears off.

If Harden is incoming and they’re serious about competing/changing culture and Brown is on the table I would do it with literal zero hesitation.

Silas offense was terrible. No help, just dance and try to drive then take a hard shot. Also focus was to rotate who would get the ball.
Now, trying to win means Green will be the focus. He will average 30 this year.
