Hurley all day.
How am I tripping?
He is objectively a far better pick than JJ, just based on the fact that he has actual coaching experience.B2b champion that was about to get paid more than Jeanie's last 4 coaches combined - IN COLLEGE!!!
Some notes on from a UConn friend that follows basketball very seriously -
- UConn had the greatest offense in college ball the last 2 seasons. Truly amazing stuff. Constant motion on the weakside, actions that build off each other to keep defenses guessing. In 2023 they won the tournament in dominant fashion, beating every team by double digits. They lost 3 starters to the NBA, and then followed it up by going 37-3 the following season going b2b
- Against the spread, UConn went undefeated in the tournament which is unheard of beating Vegas models every time
- He is very passionate, a great leader and speaker. Comes from basketball royalty, his father is prob the greatest highschool coach ever
- He has the old school toughness that preaches defense and rebounds with the new Xs and Os schemes. Really one of the best coaches in the world IMO
- Luke Murray studies a lot of offenses in Europe and gets his stuff from there. The prayer is that he gets Murray along as his lead assistant
I hope you are right.
Most of the great college coaches that failed are.
Jerry Tarkanaian

I LOVE Mike Montgemery and I really thought he'll be good in the NBA.
