Don’t think you can play drop coverage against the Celtics. All their guys can hit pull up 3’s and it didn’t help that our wings didn’t get around screens either. They had has scrambling all night and our rotations were a mess. Rotations should get better but it’s not nice to get humiliated on night 1 in front of the whole country.

But like I said in the game thread most of you know it takes time for new teams to build chemistry...

i still believe in this roster long term but tonight was inarguably difficult to sit through lol

and most of the games are like this. they make a ton of 3's vs us.

Realistically the only way to defend this is play zone, that is why the Heat have so much success playing them, Spo isn't afraid to say "**** this" and zone up

Bridges found his shot. McBride is a baller man and needs more minutes and possibly the starting position over Hart. Didn't run enough Towns/Brunson PnRs. Defense was looking lost entire game. Tatum couldn't miss, didn't matter who was guarding him. Celtics fans are obnoxious. Sims doesn't do anything particularly well except jump high. Payne is alright but when it means less or no minutes for Kolek then he's a negative.

there are some teams that take time to gel. but that's also an excuse sometimes when things aren't right. when we traded rj & quick (who were a big part of our team) for og we didn't need time to gel.

TBH, I knew this was a "L" as soon as I saw the game thread. Vibe was badly off from the start. So I avoided it altogether.

Anyway, this team needs time to gel. Too many new additions for things to have been perfect on Day 1.

Oh, and we might need to have that talk about Mikal Bridges...

I blame Aaron Rogers. 8-)
Tonight's game told me.the issue is not with his stroke, it's in his head. When the pressure was off he looked normal.

That was uglier than Jordan Walsh but it's one game. We got ways to go defensively but we got the right coach to fix it so I'm not worried. We will see these guys in May and we will be better.

A whole training camp and some are still preaching chemistry. Nope. Not I.

This was karma. KAT is the new Eddy Curry.

There will be an adjustment period that’s for sure. Tonight was just a measuring stick that showed how far they have to go but that’s natural with big changes that were made. Guys will have to now build that cohesion and chemistry and that will take time. Might still be needing a more natural 2 guard to fill that hole created with Donte being traded. Going to have to get creative with that Mitchell Robinson contract to find that missing piece

Can we agree to at least give it 3-5 games before we drink the cyanide coolaid?

We have more new players- that makes a big difference...And the context of the team is night and day Sham.

I didn't realize how many terrible western movies were made until I watched them on youtube...
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Started last year 2-4 with a home opener loss to C’s, all meant nothing. I can see this team hover around .500 the first 15 games, anyone with hoop knowledge new teams take time to gain chemistry, especially on defense
