Pritchard is what we thought we were getting with Carsen Edwards a few years ago. He’s perfect in his role now.

Cade is a great player, but he's more like JT when it comes to leadership.
They need a Draymond type player.
Beef Stew is a bargain bin Draymond.
In fact, Stewart and Sasser both did Dikembe 'finger wags' during last night's game after blocking shots by the Celtics, in the midst of a game their team lost by 24 points
good game good effort, Detroit basketball
Yeah, the toughness part, but Stew is not a leader.
honest question: is Draymond?
I would guess that yes, sometimes, just by virtue of how significant a player he has been on the court, and how much he likes to talk (and is sometimes good at it)

he's also what IT was in 2014-15, first year we had him, when he averaged 19 ppg off the bench in 21 games for BOS.
the next year he started, scored 22ppg, and was an All Star
two years later he averaged 29 ppg and was 5th in MVP voting

I am not saying but you know I am just saying

I like PP staying a 6th man and as the 2nd option behind JT or JB, with the 2nd unit.

Like last year, the Celtics continue to win when key players sit. They're remarkable that way.
The team was led by bounceback games from Pritchard and White, aided by strong contributions from many others.
Luke Kornet played 13 piston-pummeling minutes.
Peterson continues to, surprisingly, look like a real pro and fit right in.
Jaylen Brown filled up the stat sheet without a lot of fgas, showing his ever expanding game.
Porzingis keeps getting stronger as he gets further from surgery.
Queta was overthinking on offense but played good D.
Mazzulla mixed and matched big men all game long.
It wasn't a great opponent, but it was a great win.
JD Davison must stop being tight and tentative on NBA courts. He hasn't relaxed with the big club yet. Just play your game JD. Time is running short. Release your inner Jrue Holiday. Ommmm.

I seriously need JD to get five straight minutes with the Jays!! That’s all I need!! Do it Joe!!
Edit: matter of fact, with KP, he’s going to give him a bunch of perfect lobs easily!! Plus he needs KP‘s defense when he gets stuck on screens.

NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!)

I promise I voted the same for the same reason *before* reading your post.
JB was feeling himself with some nice passes tonight, including one in the 1st quarter where he pranced up the sideline with the ball, looked the defense off, and dropped a perfect dime to a posting Horford for an easy score.
year or two ago he would have HAD TO try to go for 40 on a night like this
now he didn't even get into it with Beef Stew
just jogged around, made good plays, helped lead the team to an easy W
you love to see it
Same here! In fact, I messed up the CP vote and made it a tie between JB and DW. JB had a team leading +/- at +30 and that matched the eye test for me!
We won it for Al!!!

Hairless Horrors?
Can't use their jersey numbers and call them 9/11 "something" when we already have Al-Queta. Can't use any references to Boston and bombs. Can't use their initials, show our love for them, and call them P-D-philia.
Can’t ask for more and say “White Pritch Please!”

Now you're making me think of old Radcliffe T-shirts and slogans, specifically the famous "Once a bitch, always a bitch." (The underlying slur to that had been so coopted that a fairly official singing group was known as the "Radcliffe Pitches".
The university's favorite of those was probably "Radcliffe: Over a century of women on top."
My girlfriend's favorite, however, was "Radcliffe: Where women always come first."
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".
