You can’t reach on Alperen Şengün. It’s similar to getting to steal from Chris Paul, he will always draw a foul.

Put simply we have too many contracts for not enough spots to reasonably keep Garza next year. Miller needs that PT every bit as badly as Garza, but he is under contract two more years and has a future here. Garza will never have the foot speed to be anything more than a defensive liability. He will have a great career in the G, and hopefully as a Wolf, but an Iowa Wolf.
I get it but I'm not convinced yet. Most big guys appear slow and still make it. The small amount of money he makes won't be a factor.
Garza doesn’t just “appear” slow. He’s a traffic cone.
I might fall for your argument, but if it were that cut and dried, he wouldn't be on this roster for the last 3 years. The coaches see him every day and they know what he can do. I'll take their word for it. The staff love Garza. So who am I to believe? Sorry BlacJac.
you remind me of a guy I know named Levine. Regards.

Given some of the weird **** we've seen this season from our coaching staff, the fact you put THIS much faith into their decision making is strange.
Coaches can be blinded by their personal feelings toward a player, which is what I think is the case with Garza - From all reports he's a dream to have in the locker room and is a genuinely nice guy. Finch loves him, but that doesn't prove either way if he is good enough to be given minutes. But our eyes do seem to point to the "he just isn't good enough" side of it.

He’s super cheap, a great teammate and never complains about not playing. Of course they love him!
He’s a great 15th man as long as you don’t have to play him in any role beyond “human victory cigar”.

The problem is your eyes don't count for me as much as the coaches eyes do. Respectfully.
In the end you might be right. I just want to see how it plays out and give him every chance.
BTW, the game tonight is one of the best I've seen all year. Wolves have played great down the stretch like good teams do for a change. I am heartened by our performance tonight. Houston is a good club.

If Ant got the whistle he’s had the past 2 games every night, he’d average 40 PPG.

Ant is the 3rd Wolf in franchise history to have back to back 40 point games.

The other problem is he hasn’t yet shown he can shoot the 3 at the actual NBA level.
Granted, he hasn’t had a ton of chances, but he’s never going to be a guy who gets consistent playing time. So if he needs to find a groove to be a good shooter, he has no chance to succeed.
