ANT is the only All-Star (and Superstar) in Minnesota and his team is "stacked"?
ANT 2022 Playoffs = 25.2 points per game, .455 field, .404 downtown
ANT 2023 Playoffs = 31.6 points per game, .482 field, .349 downtown
ANT 2024 Playoffs = 27.6 points per game, .481 field, .400 downtown and eliminated Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Nikola Jokic
ANT 2025 Playoffs = 25.3 points per game, .453 field, .354 downtown and eliminated LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Jimmy Butler
I'm sorry man, this is such a silly narrative about one player eliminating another player by himself as if this is an individual game, disregarding proper context like injuries and imbalanced lineups by opposing teams etc.![]()
![]()
by this stupid reasoning, Isiah Thomas is GOAT for eliminating Bird, MJ and Magic like what a certain washed up player said too .![]()
Using this "logic", Billups is also great for eliminating Kobe, Shaq, Malone and Payton and then again eliminating Shaq and Wade the following year,
I am not a fan of Edwards because I find this dude too cocky and borderline arrogant but I am also aware that he is just 23 years old and will likely improve and mature to be a great player but did you know that his last playoff averages he had career low in
EFG%, FT%, FG%, steals
2nd lowest in pts, FT attempts, blocks.
Well that's not my narrative, its your narrative.
You said "one player eliminating another player by himself", but i never said ANT eliminated anyone by himself...
You said "Isiah Thomas is GOAT for eliminating Bird", i never did.
You said "Billups is also great for eliminating Kobe, Shaq, Malone and Payton", and that's true Billups is great, and he played a role in eliminating those players. The difference is, ANT takes full responsibility for Minnesota losing, whereas Billups didn't. ANT is considered the biggest reason for success and failure.
Dude, you clearly implied Ant (with his stats) ELIMINATED KD, Booker, Lebron, Jokic etc etc. You never said Minnesota or Ant's team at least eliminated other teams.

Your narrative also lacked proper context. Suns were a poorly constructed team, Lakers did not have a legit center and esp the Warriors didn't have their best player and you have the nerve to point out that Ant eliminated Butler.

How is this thread still open? Idiotic premise to begin with. Then devolves into Ant being called Beal by an out of touch poster. Time to end this nonsense.

They don't need Rozier, but they definitely need an actual PG that isn't ancient to handle playmaking duties next to Ant. Conley has been washed for like 3 years already, it's crazy that he is still forced to start out of necessity

Still, if Wolves were given 0.6 on the clock to win Game 4 (instead of the 0.3 they got), they may be NBA Champions now.
So Conley is probably good enough, and they did finish the season 17-4, so they'll probably win a lot more games this season because this time they'll start the season with excellent chemistry.

“Helped defeat a team with…” is what you were looking for then, as by just saying “eliminated” you basically assign the credit to Edwards. And anyone who watched that Denver/Minnesota series knows it was Towns and Reid that were a bigger factor on Jokic than anything Edwards did.

No, i wasn't looking for that at all.
ANT gets FULL CREDIT for eliminating Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Nikola Jokic, LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Jimmy Butler, because ANT is Minnesota's #1 option, Minnesota's only All-Star in 2024-25, and Minnesota's only Superstar.
Likewise, ANT takes FULL BLAME for the Thunder series, and ANT admitted this in interviews after each playoff loss.
And in the 2024 playoffs the Wolves would probably have lost EVERY game if they didn't have ANT, no matter how well Towns and Reid played.
Don't forget, ANT's impact is not just his statistical production, but his impact on everybody else on the court, because ANT is a HUGE decoy!

It’s not a necessity but a nice to have. Conley and Dilly are enough with Edwards as ball-in-hand enough anyway.
What Wolves need is one more all-in upgrade trade to level-up. At some point Randle, Dilly, DDV value needs to be pushed all-in for an upgrade. Most likely an ideal guard next to Edwards (doesn’t mean a PG).
