The whole Rozier trade was a disaster on Heat management. In the real world, someone would be held accountable for it. Unfortunately, nothing will be learned and the Heat will continue to give away picks and acquire high priced bums.

IMO we should be awarded the number one pick in the coming draft for the shame and manipulation weve had to endure.

We are definitely getting off this contract

Not likely. Like Flash4theWin said, there's no grounds for the NBA to void his contract at this point.

I believe Jontay Porter was banned even before he was officially charged.

That guy was on a two-way contract. To the best of my knowledge Rozier's money is protected by the CBA at least for now.

I've gotten league pass in prior years and may end up getting it again, but I might also just be content to watch what's available on what I got. Although according to this if you've got ESPN/ABC, NBC, and Prime you'll get all national games?

The NBA likely will need to act and then PA. I doubt anything will happen soon to give Heat caproom

They mentioned a game while with the Hornets that Rozier told people he would be leaving early due to "injury". It's possible Hornets knew he was under an investigation when they traded him to the Heat. If so, maybe the pick would come back or some type of compensatory pick.

What Billups did I don't get. He was involved in illegal card games with "victims" who were also involved in illegal card games. The "victims" were committing a crime. Games were fixed and the victims, who were participating in illegal games, lost hundreds of thousands, millions, or whatever. What if the games were legit and they lost money? Is the crime the games were illegal or fixing illegal games? If the games were already illegal who cares if they were fixed? Do you need to keep the integrity of illegal games intact? I get keeping the integrity of a professional sports league, but an underground poker ring?

Not really. You will be very surprised this is common in the so called real world. I worked for a medical company that got raided by the FBI, 250 million fraud indictment and the company remained in business until plea deal 4 yrs later. This is after 3 other plea deals 10 yrs prior

Seriously, is this why Rozier's play has been so erratic since he left BOS? All of this makes you wonder. Was he betting on games he played in? Was he faking injuries for betting purposes?
