I think he'll drop around that number..anything more would be a bonus.

Likely that game was a one and done outlier.

Cool to see it happen, but I would expect closer to 10 points than 20 under normal game circumstances. Maybe the injuries change things, however.

If he gets the minutes and shots ...I could easily see ~15 points or more He's basically the best 3 point shooter on the entire team and he's way more crafty than given credit for.

They'll need it with Brunson and OG out.

I figure for this game Spo will game plan Shamet out of the equation. Maybe in the next game he'll pick it back up. Also, inconsistency has been a kind of Shamet trademark, according to DollarBills. Then again, that's also one of those things separating good from very good players. Besides maybe Courtney Lee who always seemed to score exactly 11 points every game.

Bold prediction: we lose and half the board propose Towns for JJJ or Adebayo trades.

It would be great to see, but don't think we should expect this type of player to take a quentin grimes leap at 28.

But we'll see. Would be amazing if he turned into a 6th man type for us out of nowhere.

You have to wonder though is it consistency or inconsistent opportunities? Even when hes been lucky enough to get real minutes , he always had to defer to lead plsyers. Him getting starter minutes AND a Green light is an extremely rare occurrence for him. Maybe this is reproducible to a degree.

But even if he has to be game planned for...there has to be a price for that. It has to mean someone else will be more open than they would have normally been...we need to take advantage.

So look...if Kolek can't get minutes and perform at an average level, I see no reason to have him on the roster. It's pointless.

I hope we see some Diawara mins tonight.

Shamet is playing excellent basketball but yeah, no. Don't expect that outburst to happen again for the rest of the season  bro was in the zone

As long as he gets his little 9 to 11 pts, plays good D and maintains his plus 40% 3pt efficiency, that's frankly great production for a starting SG on a cheap contract. Thank God the front office had the sense to keep him.

I still don't see what the infatuation with JJJ is league wide. His shot blocking has consistently declined and he is an embarrassing rebounder for his size.

I dont expect a 36 point out burst, but given those same minutes I DO expect more than ~10 points... I envision14 -18 points tonight (minimum), if he keeps that same aggression.

If Shamet is gonna attack the basket, for sure. But Miami is probably gonna key in on him now after what he did to them

Third time with the Heat already? Like is this March/ April? lol

We have to take one on the road esp without Herro and Bam, can't be serious contenders without winning on the road
