I have no problem with Noah being suspended for 2 games. If the players said it deserved an extra game than it almost certainly did.

I also agree with the posters who think it's humorous that Ben Wallace would have anything to say about it. How much respect does this guy have for anyone?

I've never really seen players on the team praise Noah, to be honest. You know they like Gray and Thomas. It kinda seems like he's rubbed them the wrong way or something. I think he's more likely to be included in trades than Thomas. I wonder if Sam Smith is going to hate Noah now?

What if Noah called out some players and the assistant coach took exception, which lead to an argument and then certain players called out took exception to it also!

It's quite possible, Noah's tired of the below average effort, said some things that led to all this and he's the one getting destroyed on the boards for it when he might be the one who should be praised. We won't know till the whole story comes out but usually, if it's bad about an individual that stuff gets to the media, this time NOTHING is getting out to the media.

For the record, Noah is on the sidelines in street clothes.

Wallace is a hypocrite if he is the one who organized this. And he probably is.

As for the rest of it, yes it is odd for players to be deciding what amounts to suspensions for their teammates. That is the coaches and the GM's job. If Pax and Boylan felt one game was enough, then one game is enough for me.

You start getting into real dangerous territory when you have players being allowed to discipline other players. Personal opinions of who likes who and who doesn't can come into it. Politics about minutes, all kinds of things. You think Wallace and Joe Smith don't read the papers about Pax wanting the kids to play soon if the team doesn't get it together?

So next time, someone is late to practice let's not care what the organization decides or not, lets see what the players think. Next time Duhon comes in with a hangover, maybe the team will vote he is benched for 2 games and spare us all his painful play.

Then especially, the way the team comes out after this event, against a bad team Atlanta and just gives no effort and gets their clock cleaned. That is not the sign of a mature and responsible team that should be deciding ANYTHING. Half these guys might not even be on the team next year. It's comical how hard they try to show leadership off the court when they utterly fail to show it every night on the court, which is why they are all here.

At this point, for anyone to *not* question everything that is going on with this team, I find shocking.

It is my opinion that Griffin was the organizer & finally convinced Wallace to at least pretend that he gives a s**t and take part in a meeting. He would even let Wallace have credit for organizing the meeting.

There is a leadership void on this team.

Whether you liked Skiles or not he was the undisputed leader of this team. Now he's gone, and Boylan is on less then solid ground due to his interim status.

Apparently Wallace and Griffin are trying to step up and help fill the void.

Sure is a Brave new world in Chicago.

Actually, the team itself seems to be on the same page. Noah is the 1 that's not with the team.

Noah's apparantly has been late to team events and practices so now I support the move even more. Noah is showing his a** right now and that wasn't supposed to be an issue with him.

This from an outsider looking in. Relating to the leadership void some of you point to, don't you feel Kirk Hinrich should be one to take control of this team from the players end? He has four years of a high level university schooling and basketball, is the point guard, seems like a smart person and player and seems like he should be a good leader.

I like the fact that the players had the chance to vote and that is wasn't strictly the coaches' decision.

I do as well, it shows care and responsibility, and what's going to be expected. Obviously not what Noah did.

Sam Smith or KC would be useful to find out what went on.
