I agree, there's no point for the hawks to trade for mike while loosing Josh Smith

Maybe the deal's bigger than originally thought. If the Hawks wanted to make a push in the East, maybe they ask for Bibby AND Miller to shore up their 1/5 spots with JJ. That'd put Williams at the 3, Horford at the 4 and give the Hawks one of the better starting 5's in the East IMO.

Would we have to include Justin in the deal? Or can it just be Mike.

The Kings have reached an agreement in principle to send veteran guard Mike Bibby to the Atlanta Hawks for guards Anthony Johnson and Tyronn Lue and forwards Lorenzen Wright and Sheldon Williams, sources told The Bee on Saturday

hmm would it be wise to say beno will start?

Wow!

This is fine with me

Get future flexibility, an above-average complementary big prospect, and get to keep Justin Williams :). Also one step closer to rebuilding.

Like I said earlier, I really like Shelden's ability, up-side, size and toughness. For the kind of big man he is. I think he'll have an improved oppurtunity with us, compared to Atlanta.

Good stuff for the Hawks, I've thought for a while now Bibby would be a nice fit there.

How would that work out?
If Bibby/Miller went to Hawks, while Josh Smith came to the Kings...we can't take on Speedy + others..becasue then we have no shot at resigning Smith...

See what a **** feeling it is to get raped in a trade! Hope you're happy deNIEd. This trade is TERRIBLE. Shelden is a bum and the rest are cap filler.

As a kings fan i hope we get Josh Smith, but i highly doubt they would be giving him up for that package. Trading a young good player for the chance to make a playoff push is not a good idea if i were a hawks gm. But if the said rumor a couple months back is true which is said Smith doesn't like to be in atlanta then there might be a chance for a trade like that happens.

Bibby havent even played good this season. His value isnt that high as you think Smills. Im happy with this trade. Sheldon is a bust so far but let's see what a new situtation will do for him. Almost $10mil in exprings is nice too.

Shelden has had an erratic oppurtunity on a team filled with other bigs and hybrid fowards in front of him. He wasn't going to have that much of a chance to develop and play there significantly more than he was.

Also, what can't be ignored is Shelden got chosen too high in a weak draft, so that's not his fault. Generally, he'd be a mid-late 1st round pick. Not a high lottery pick, as in the weak 06 draft (similar goes with Cedric Simmons).

I wish all the best to Shelden Williams. He's a LOT better than the pundits give him credit for.

Well since they think he's abysmal, that probably means he can at least hold down one end of the bench in the NBA. I hate Shelden Williams' game. He's terrible.

Has Sheldon Williams done anything in the league???

I'd rather the monarchs get his girlfriend Candice Parker.. At least she can play...

Im praying we get a future 1st. I think this deal was for financial reasons more than anything.

I think S. Williams might be better off slimming down. With Hawes at C we need a PF to be a little quicker and athletic, Williams might benefit from having more of a lean build. Or he might just be a solid big to have off the bench that can rebound rather than our starting PF.

Johnson, Lue, Wright and Williams don't work on the trade checker

So they will either add Salim or cash. Maybe we will get a first. Will see when and if it goes through

Getting a future first would be really nice, or even cash.

If all we get is this then im a bit disappointed...hopefully we get a pick but hearing that this might be the actual deal then this is just for financial reasons....
