Hmmm...I wonder if Thad goes for 25 plus today??
Just out of curiosity, and I haven't seen much of Thad, but have read so many positive things about him, what do you think his ceiling is, statwise?
Could he be a 24+ ppg scorer? It seems like he has a wonderful touch around the rim, takes high percentage shots, does things on the court that don't show up on the statsheet, has an incredibly high bbiq, and is only 19...
I'm honestly salivating at the though of him becoming one of the premier sf's in the league in the next 4 years...From the looks of it, he's improved with almost every single game.

Here is another quote from the live glog ... I find these comments a little comical ... lol ...
Villanueva's getting some easy looks, but forgive the Sixers for getting bored and a little complacent. On the other end, it's dunk after dunk for Philly. Pathetic performance for the home crowd in Milwaukee

If you cannot convince others that you are right, you probably aren't.

yes. imo of course. he is highly skilled down low, an absolute force in transition, above average-good body control, and has a developing 3pt/midrange game. He has a scoring instinct, though he doesn't have that kobe/mj give me the ball im going to rip the rim down personality. Doesn't really want to disrupt the flow of the game. i think he will get more and more agressive as he gets older (everything has gotten better as he's gotten more and more comfortable and confident).
He just needs some weight on his frame and to tighten up the handle (has gotten much better as the season has progressed though)
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Yeah, I heard that was the knock on him during the first half of the season. Its good to see that his handle has improved to the point that he can take the ball down the court, and not lose his dribble. IMO, it also has to do with confidence. He had some nice crossovers in the summer league, and seemed to have a great handle when he was in high school...
I watched the Mcdonalds All American game highlights, and interestingly a strong suit to his game at the point was his handle. I guess it also has to do with the fact that he's gone back and forth between positions for the last 3 years.

Not only that, but it looks like Thad is on his way to a career game, especially if this game stays relatively close. He had about 10-12 points in the first quarter...

This will be fun to watch...from everything you read/hear, he's a gym rat (similar to Iguodala) and to watch them develop together to me is very exciting. I still think Iguodala is a 22+ PPG player in a year or two, if Young gets to the 24 PPG range that was suggested, it would be very exciting to watch. Lou has looked really good the past few games as well...still would love to see him distribute more, but he's had a nice control to his game lately.

Hah. Did anyone hear the Salmi slip-up with about 6:30 to go? That was good, but not quite as good as:
