The secondary is the issue. Our frontline and linebackers are good. We just need to keep pressuring and getting to them quick.

Like that sandwich of Moore between Ratliff and Ware.

And then again with Ellis now.

Seriously. I notice that too, if we can pressure the QB our defense is decent. But if the front 7 doesn't pressure the QB our secondary is a liability. Notice how Moore was having target practice with Smith all night long when we didn't get to him.

Jason Campbell was moving the ball at will against us because we couldn't pressure him, Kitna was picking our secondary apart because we couldnt touch him all game long, McNabb had trouble because we pressured him. Our offense lost that game. Tonight Moore was throwing the ball downfield. Luckily as they got to the goaline our front 7 loaded up on them. Our secondary is a HUGE concern heading into the playoffs.

Newman, TO, Romo, Ratliff, Henry, Gurode are all banged up at the wrong time.

Without TO in there we had trouble doing anything in the 2nd half, luckily we had #24 combined with the fact that they are the Panthers.

True. Don't forget they'll bring up how Dallas got lucky with the calls. Then again they've been doing it all season so no need to worry.

I know! Because Dallas never commits a penalty ever!

Especially not that PI where the defender knocked Carter around before the ball even got there!

There's this old proverb that would apply here. Something about glass houses and stones. :P

The only knocking around that happened was when the defender went to make the play on the ball. You probably wouldn't have cared so much if Dumbel and his sidekick didn't make such a big fuss about it for the rest of the night.

Anyway there are a few of those types of calls and non calls everygame, so to bitch about it is fruitless.

There's a reason that a knowledgeable person (Collinsworth) made "such a big fuss about it."

You can make a play on the ball, but you can't blatantly grab the receiver before the ball got there to do so.

The problem is you claim that no penalties are committed by the other team playing against dallas. Sure that PI was probably a penalty, but witten was mugged multiple times with no calls. Of course since no one pointed it out to you, you couldnt see it through your haterade glasses.

My glasses are Kenneth Cole. But they're broken.

But I never said no penalties are committed by the other team. Witten getting mugged? Probably true. But they've gotten their illegal contacts and such to extend their drives. So it, more often than not, came out in the wash. That no-call on the helmet to helmet was dubious too. See? I can be fair!

However, on the Dallas side of the ledger, there should've been an illegal contact penalty on one third down, and that PI should have been called. And it should've been a Steve Smith catch, based on the fact that he already had two feet down and THEN got bowled over and lost the ball.

Because these look a little more glaring than Witten getting mugged from time to time, and because they came at extremely pivotal moments in the game, and because you seemed to not want to admit that the Cowboys got away with one, I decided to chime in.

The contact occurred before his second foot hit the ground, it doesnt matter when he fell, its when the contact causing it first occurred, It was very close though.

And where did i not admit the PI? Actually if you look back i admitted it earlier in the thread before you even got here its on page 2

So a makeup call by the refs for the non PI on Reeves. Meh.

I read "non PI" as "it wasn't a PI." Apologies.

I guess I'll see you back "home" playing gay chicken with twirl.

I wouldnt say easily. Especially when it comes to division games. That and they already lost to the bears once this season, and that was at Lambeau.
