If Bogut plays, Lopez will be shutdown completely, if Bogut doesn't, Lopez has a solid night against Spaz (who couldn't?), and then everyone has a coniption fit after the game.

As far as the game, I think if Bogut plays, we win regardless. If Bogut sits, Harris sits, we win a close one. If Bogut sits, Harris plays, we lose.

I'll give him the benifit right now since he's toughed it out before, but pretty soon I'll be coming down on him as well. It's only fair.

That doesn't make much sense at all. An injury is an injury. Would you rather have a player come back too early and be out longer? That is what happened with Deron Williams early in the year, now the same is happening with Devin Harris.

I'd rather have him miss a couple extra games now, but be 100% when he gets back. With back spasms, you never know though, it's probably the worst injury you can have because you honestly can't move at all.

But there is no point in going after people about injuries. If he can play, he will, if he can't, he won't.

I actually think Gadz might be a better matchup for us against Lopez. Bogut would struggle against Wilt's ability to block his shot. Gadz has the quickness to move around Lopez since Lopez is very slow.

Disagree completely. Bogut has a much better frame to keep Lopez away from the basket, and Gadzuric would foul out in a women's rec league game. We've already seen what our post D has looked like without Bogut in the game, it's definitely a huge loss to have him out defensively.

I don't think Lopez is going to have an easy time setting up anywhere near the basket against Bogut, so unless Drew doesn't play or Lopez's jumper is really working, I don't see much from Lopez tonight. Looking forward to this one in any case.

Is Bogut even playing though? It doesn't sound likely.

Bogut should continue to duck Brook if he knows what's good for him. There are a lot of funny storylines in this one as PP pointed out with the pics, shame I won't be able to watch. I'll be at the cell for the big GB/UWM matchup tonight. No line out for this game yet.

I only get to watch Bucks games in HD a few times a year, so I'm looking forward to this one for that reason alone. Eating my cheeseburgers on the couch tonight!

Also, I get to watch the guys on my fantasy team battle it out. Bogut vs Harris.

Oh wait...

Also, at the risk of sounding like twirly's accomplice, Jerrod - are you going to let us know what you're wearing to the game?

If it's anything like he wore last game, he'll be hard to miss.

I've been eagerly anticipating this matchup for a month or so now for several reasons - the first being PP's unabashed manlove for Wilt and his particular love for him over Bogut, the second being that I think NJ are pretenders who will fold like origami without exceptional output from their terrific 1-2 combination, we are a better team than them imo and it's time to prove it. The third of course is the return of old Stone hands Potential and Lt. Dan. Strangely I still like both Yi and Bobby, though from a team perspective I'm not the least bit sad that they are visiting our building rather than calling it home. My enthusiasm has been tempered somewhat with Bogut's injury as I really want to see the two sides matchup at full strength, but I'm still looking forward to it.

With a remotely healthy Bogut this is a guaranteed win for us, with a somewhat unhealthy Bogut who can only play D it's still a win, without him and the Nets without DH it's still a win, without him and the Nets having DH it's a loss. Let's hope one of those things goes in our favor.

Yeah, but you'll never star in The Hobbit. I just might.
