Actually isn't right now he's doing everyone asks him to do, i.e. tanking? Tank for 3 years and get 3 top 5 picks, follow OKC model.

After failing in his initial ideas. So it's wasted time and squandered opportunities as he "carefully managed his assets" -- at the very least, it's a lot of lost time.
